Acts of Intimacy:
Dean
It’s the neighbors’ fault. All of it. Well, not the booze but everything else that led up to the weird we’re going to figure this out exploration is definitely the neighbors’ fault. Dean’s starting to realize he’s not as nervous about their new adventure as he should be but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t found plenty to worry about. With his roommates and best friends, there’s always something to worry about.
Joel
They have the best neighbors, but they’ve left Joel with more than a few questions. Why do people submit? Why don’t more people like humiliation? Why has it taken him so long to figure out how much he likes his roommates? Yes, Joel has questions, but he’s not going to let that stop him from diving into all kinds of fun.
Tate
They were adorably insane, but Tate wouldn’t change his best friends for anything. He also can’t deny them much, so no one is surprised when he dives right in to answering Joel’s questions and helping Dean to figure out caretaking comes in all kinds of interesting packages. New questions might bring curious changes, but he knows he’s the Dom for the job.
When three best friends sit down with questions and fruity drinks, it’ll take more than second-guessing and alcohol to keep them from lending a helping hand and sharing their passion-filled hearts.
Learning to Change (5) and Learning to Grow (6) are a standalone duet. This duet has the opera singer who lives in our favorite apartment building, but you do not need to have read the other books in the series to enjoy these.
Paxton
Bugs. Well, beetles, but it doesn’t matter because they keep disappearing. Poof. Insects, bugs, or just creepy crawlies, Paxton doesn’t care what they’re called because they’re the most fascinating creatures he’s ever seen, and as an entomologist, that’s saying a lot. But since he’s currently in the most frustrating town he’s ever seen, there might be a connection.
Fraser
Bugs. Fraser is fascinated by the adorable bug doctor who’s running around town digging in the dirt and playing with bugs. He also agrees with the rest of the nuts in town that Paxton has to be a little. But there’s one big question on everyone’s mind. Does Paxton know he’s not as vanilla as he seems to think he is?
When the bugs are vanishing and the locals are perplexing, falling in love just might be the easiest part of Paxton’s magical discoveries.
Nathan wasn’t sure why people were so obsessed with dating and sex. Sure it probably felt good but he just couldn’t figure out what all the fuss was about. It might have helped if he knew what he was looking for. But with so many labels and options, he just wasn’t sure. It seemed so easy to everyone else, but to him, it felt like something was missing.
Gabriel thought Nathan was absolutely perfect. Sweet, funny, sexy, and completely confused about what he desired—but absolutely perfect. He wanted to help Nathan. Would his sexy roommate be open to something that was completely outside of the box or would Gabriel ruin their relationship before it even started?
Mason isn’t looking for Mr. Right…he isn’t even looking for Mr. Right-Now. What he wants in a man isn’t going to be found on a blind date or at a singles mixer. Mason’s looking for someone a little more unique…a little more take-charge…a little more loving.
Edward is straightforward, logical, and thinks of himself as traditional…not vanilla, just traditional, and when he meets Mason on a interesting blind date, sparks fly. But when the intriguing man with the sexy voice makes it clear he wants something unexpected, Edward has to decide how far out of his comfort zone he’s willing to go to find love.
When whispered confessions reveal secret desires, love can’t be far behind.
Growing up in an unusual family has made adapting to college more difficult for Jay. Sheltered and socially awkward, the only easy part about higher education is the classes. While everyone around him seems to instinctively understand what they’re into and who they are, he’s lost and alone. That is, until his new roommate makes life a little more interesting.
Growing up in an unusual family has given Logan a completely different outlook on life. With parents that travel the world and an overly open-minded grandmother, Logan doesn’t believe in hiding who he is or what he wants out of a relationship. That is, until his new roommate turns out to have no boundaries and is a little too nosy.
When the two roommates find out they have more in common than they think, they learn that different doesn’t have to be bad, and falling in love is easy once the walls that keep them apart are stripped away.
Curiosity might have killed the cat—but Finn is hoping it will make him a better Dom.
Finn isn’t sure what form of BDSM calls to him more, but what he does know is that he’s drawn to a certain English professor. Unfortunately, Professor Sexy—as he’s known by his students—is skittish, and Finn knows he needs to take it slow. Teasing Beckett with little notes and presents might be a little outside the box, but Finn never claimed to be conventional.
Beckett will admit he’s curious about his not-so-secret admirer, but he isn’t sure he’s ready to take the next step.
Beckett has always maintained a strict policy about not dating anyone associated with the college, but he’s never been so tempted before. Even if he wants to know who’s been leaving him the notes, there’s still one big question left. Does Beckett’s mysterious admirer know what Beckett’s into, or is he expecting a much more conventional professor?
When an untrained Dom falls for an older, hesitant sub, sparks fly in the most unconventional ways.
Looking innocent and the picture of vanilla has allowed Archer to keep his personal life private from his nosy but well-meaning coworkers, but it’s also made finding Mr. Right almost impossible. When the outside is sweet and shy and the inside is full of curious needs, Archer doesn’t know how he’ll ever find the right man…because Mr. Tall, Dark, and Dominant just doesn’t show up out of the blue. Right?
When a dramatic breakup leaves Declan sleeping in his car, he vows to never to change himself for anyone ever again. But moving in with his new blushing roommate is testing his resolve. All he wants is to throw caution to the wind and explain in explicit detail about everything he’d love to do to the seemingly bashful man with the wandering eyes, but is that what Archer wants?
When a teasing flirt with a wicked grin meets a shy insurance salesman, sparks shouldn’t fly, but these two might just be a match made in heaven…just a very wicked one.
This is a sweeter version of humiliation play. It is completely consensual and both main characters are enthusiastic about their desires. The heat level is higher than some of my other books, but it is very much a romance at heart.
Can’t get enough Archer and Declan?

“How do you know if you’re a hostage?”
Bates
His boys ask the most interesting questions, but Bates wouldn’t have it any other way. They’re fabulously curious and wonderfully unique, and they’re quickly becoming the center of his world even though they haven’t technically known each other very long. But there are definitely more important things than time when it comes to falling in love.
Gareth
It isn’t his fault that life is weird and he has a growing list of questions, but thankfully, he has the best boyfriends he could’ve ever dreamed up because his list just keeps getting longer and longer. But Gareth knows questions are good and the answers are always fun, especially when some end with tails and playtime.
Cashel
How Gareth’s questions led to his own switchy crisis, Cashel still can’t quite figure out, but it just seems to be what happens when he’s surrounded by crazy on all sides. And the insanity is contagious because Jude’s acting even stranger and now Brady is asking his own growing list of the weirdest questions ever.
When a nosy neighbor falls for two curious cuties, it will take some kinky exploration and a bit of hostage negotiations to bring this family together forever
Eavesdropping is only bad if I’m not being helpful with the information I’ve acquired.
Bates loves being helpful, and since being nosy makes it easier to be helpful, well, no one can complain about that logic. Especially not the cuties upstairs who have the most interesting family and the most wonderful questions.
It’s not eavesdropping if we’re too loud, right?
Gareth isn’t concerned about how much his handsome neighbor has overheard about their life. He’s more focused on getting his questions answered and about the way the fascinating guy from downstairs thinks he should be dating his best friend Cash…and the guy from downstairs.
Maybe eavesdropping wasn’t so bad?
Cashel isn’t sure what’s happening when the tornado of a neighbor bursts into their life, but he knows nothing will ever be the same. Especially not when it ends up with him on a date with Gareth and Bates. He doesn’t do that…any of it…but it sounds like maybe the neighbor knows him better than he knows himself.
When a nosy neighbor decides to help two curious men, questions finally get answers and nothing will ever be the same.
Author’s Note:
While this duet is part of the Education of the Heart series, these are the roommates from Save Me Santa. It’s not technically necessary to have read the other books, however, I think Learning to Walk and Learning to Run will be more enjoyable if you’ve already read Brady’s story, Save Me Santa.
He’d watched them for so long it probably counted as stalking.
Bryce was confident when it came to work and his family, but hesitant when it involved relationships. He’d found subs that he pulled to him and Doms that could make his knees weak for a scene or two, but no one that tugged at his heart or who could understand what it was like to be both a Dom and a sub—until he’d seen Troy and Oliver—
They’d watched him for so long they decided to keep him.
Bryce hovered around them like a moth drawn to a flame. He circled and watched but never came closer, never approached them. Troy and Oliver were tired of waiting. They knew they needed a third to make them complete, and they knew they needed Bryce. But was he ready? They didn’t want a one-night stand or a casual fling. They wanted everything with the confused switch who’d caught their eye and possibly their hearts.
Grant had found his perfect man…wrapped in silk and lace.
Grant had always loved more feminine men. A sexy guy in lingerie just did it for him. But when you looked more like a bouncer than an insurance agent, the pretty guys ran for the hills. Carter seemed different, though. When he looked at Grant, he saw the real man underneath the tattoos and muscles. Could Grant make him understand that he liked Carter just the way he was, or would Carter’s doubts keep them apart?
Carter had found his perfect man…sweet, sexy, and built like a tank.
Grant didn’t seem to mind Carter’s more feminine look, but was he too good to be true? One bad date after another had left Carter gun-shy. Now he had Mr. Right standing at his doorway. Did he have the courage to be himself and let Grant in, or would his fears keep them apart?
Brent had fallen for the one Dom he couldn’t have.
Brent’s legendary bad luck when it came to men was undeniable. If there was a wanna-be Dom in a hundred miles, he found them. But even he couldn’t have predicted what would happen next. Mixed signals and too much time off won’t make it any better, or will it?
Calen had fallen for the one sub he couldn’t have.
Calen knew most considered him the scene-them-and-leave-them type of Dom, but how could he stay when he knew they wouldn’t understand? When you’re a Dom who doesn’t match up to stereotypes, can you ever find the right submissive?
Garrett was at his breaking point.
There were only so many times in a week you should have to see someone you were…attracted to…infatuated with…but certainly didn’t have a crush on. Doms didn’t have those. Especially on a customer who probably wasn’t even gay, much less a sub. Business 101—do not flirt with a client.
Wyatt was losing his mind.
Hiding his obsession was getting harder and harder. All he wanted to do was kneel in front of Garrett and call him Master. But the sexy insurance agent never seemed to see him. He only noticed the nervous, awkward insured who came in way too often.
When the two men are missing what’s right in front of their faces, it might take family stepping in to point out the obvious. That they were meant for each other.
