Dragons, Monsters, a New Doll, and Werewolves…Early 2026 Plans!

Ready for a peek at what’s coming up?

I started working on this plan months ago and you don’t want to know how many times it got revised and tweaked. I’ve tinkered with it so many times I’ve driven myself and Sage (best PA ever) absolutely nuts.

I think we both started wincing every time and email with a heading of 2026 Plans popped up in our inboxes.

But we’ve got a plan and I’m hoping to stick with it for at least a month before I start tinkering again. (I’ll blame it on the people in my head…don’t worry about me taking the blame for any shenanigans.)

So what’s coming up?

Dragons, monsters, a sexy new doll, and werewolves to start.

Right now the plan is…

January: We’ve got dragons (Tropes and Tenderness which is already up on preorder on my website and Amazon.)

February: A slower month with vague plans for a taboo book, publishing on my website store and Smashwords.

March: Another Owners and Dolls book with a new couple

April: Werewolves in the Southern Charm world (Patreon has gotten peeks of this and it’s got a fun start.)

So yeah…I might’ve started a few things out of order already. I’ve been hard at work on the dragons and some bonus fun and the werewolves and I’ve got random notes on a lot more like our New Neighbors aliens…a book with an older little…and a fun MMM story that’s still evolving. (And for Aubrey and Lincoln…I haven’t forgotten them and I’ve added new words to their story.)

The further out the year goes the less concrete everything becomes except for a surprise in August that I can’t tell you about yet (rules suck…I love to tease) and some Dirty Daddy fun later in the year. So we’ll see what else pops up, but if there’s something you would love to see or characters that you think need their own book in 2026, you have to let me know by commenting here on the site or by replying to my newsletter or finding me on social media.

I love hearing from you guys even if the characters don’t cooperate.

Oh, and we’re going to use this as a reminder to start your reread of the dragons before Tropes and Tenderness comes out in January.

Confessions and a Threesome (December Past Pages)

In 2024, I ran a series called ‘Past Pages’ in my reader group. Each month, I’d spotlight past books published during that month – sharing writing secrets, character insights, and the stories behind them. I even opened the floor for questions and comments. This year, I’m bringing ‘Past Pages’ to my blog! Feel free to join the conversation, whether you participated last year, or not. I’m excited to revisit these books with you!

Past Pages - Shaw Montgomery MA Innes Books Published in December from 2016-2024

December – 13 total books have been published in December since 2016! Below is the full list by year, click on each title to check out it’s full blurb, keywords, tags, preview the first chapter, and links to purchase. In 2024, I added 2 books to this list!

Embracing His Submission (2016) | Bound and Controlled Box Set (2017) | Christopher and Ethan(2018) | Too Close to Lose (2019) | Jonah (2019) | Eli – Italian Translation (2020) | Archer and Declan (2020) | A Rubber Ducky Kind of Day (2021) | Too Close to Risk (2022) | Too Close to Deny (2022) | Secrets and Kisses (2023) | Dirty Daddies Holiday (2024) | Santa Has Tentacles (2024)

Let’s take a closer look at 3 of the titles released in the past.

Christopher and Ethan - Beautiful Shame 3 by Ma Innes - Gay Romance Book Cover

Christopher and Ethan

The fantasy was supposed to be anonymous.

This is the first line in Christopher and Ethan’s book, and Ethan is surprised to hear a fantasy about him being read in his human sexuality class. The assignment was to anonymously write a fantasy and I had to do this assignment in this class in college.

Thankfully my situation didn’t turn out nearly as interestingly as Christopher’s confession did but it was a very strange experience to hear your fantasy read out loud. I’m just going to say some people have a better poker face than others and at that point I had a really good one.

But I always knew that idea had to show up in book somewhere because it’s a situation that could’ve gone very wrong.

I love the Beautiful Shame books because they’re so much fun to write. Blushing subs are almost as much fun to write as drunk subs.

And I really liked how this book connected to The Only Way to Live and we get to see more of that part of the college universe.

Answer in the comments: Have you read Christopher and Ethan’s book? What’s your favorite part of the Beautiful Shame series? Any ideas about what you want to see next in that series?
Do you have any questions for me about Christopher and Ethan?

Jonah- Romance and Revolutions Series book 3 by Shaw Montgomery- Gay Romance Book Cover

Jonah

My omegas!

I love asking what if questions to the people in my head. What if someone did this in a scene? What if someone liked this kink? What if someone liked this kind of person?

My omegas have given me a lot of fun answers to my random questions but this one especially because Russ and Graham are two alphas looking for a third.

I love seeing how people act and live when they love someone they shouldn’t. I think people are fascinating creatures and its so much fun poking at them. (Mostly because for some reason real people don’t like it when you’re nosy.)

But my characters don’t mind even though some are more open than others. Even between Russ and Graham there were big differences between how open they were. I love characters who surprise me. And I love it when characters like Jonah get everything they’ve ever wanted.

So who is your favorite omega? Russ and Graham have a great house for drunk shenanigans so I think we might need to have the omegas go hang out at their pool again lol what do you think? What bonus scenes do you think we still need to have for them?

Answer in the comments: Do you have any questions for me about Jonah?

2025 Publishing Wrap Up!

Books by Shaw Montgomery/MA Innes published in 2025Experiments in Love | Loving Paperbacks | His to Love | Myths and Shifts | The Handyman and the Drama Queen | Hiding From Laughter | Garrett – German Translation | Too Close to Ignore | Beautiful (Dirty Daddies Pride Anthology) | Their Little Helper | Brent – German Translation | Eddie | Weston & Cyrus | Culture and Curiosities | The Professor and His Little Roo (Dirty Daddies Monster Daddies Anthology) | Santa’s Little Faker | A Little Christmas: Teddy

This year feels like it’s been a thousand years long.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had a lot of fun this year, wrote a lot of books that I love, and survived the first half of my son’s senior year in college, but it feels like I wrote Experiments in Love a thousand years ago instead of January.

My naughty boys from Becoming His…yep…same feeling.

How has it only been months since my drama llama of a ghost told us his story?

The creative side of me loves the reminders about all the ridiculous characters we met like Dally from Their Little Helper causing chaos everywhere he goes or Kennedy from Experiments in Love trying to decide why tops think bigger is better. (He knows size matters but not in the way that people think. lol)

Then we’ve had dragon shenanigans and our newest omegaverse stalker…and then we had Bigfoot and Christmas…and that doesn’t even begin to touch on the bonus chapters and Patreon goodies.

It’s been a packed year no matter how long it actually was. I hope you’ve had fun this year with all the new books and I can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.

In the comments, share which book of mine was your favorite this year!

Grumpy Levi Gets His Hea – Teddy is LIVE on Amazon and Free with KindleUnlimited

Ready for Teddy?

Levi is not but he’s going to get him anyway.

Teddy is live (A Little Christmas 4) and he’s a handful that’s decided to drive Levi crazy because any attention is good attention.

Right?

He thinks it is, but Levi is ready to explain to whoever is driving him insane that there are better ways to make a point.

Remember Levi?

He’s the grumpy best friend from The Christmas Mac-n-Cheese Mystery and we finally figure out why he’s such a pain in the butt.

Family trouble.

We all know that there are lots of fun shenanigans that Daddy’s and subs can get up to, but the only things I think are important to mention is that Levi’s family are assholes, and on a separate note, there is one positive conversation about adoption.

Let me know if you have questions but have fun with my dramatic Daddy and his cheeky cutie. Click here to read the first full chapter.

A Little Christmas: Teddy by MA Innes - Gay Romance Book Cover

“I don’t like soup.” – Levi

Levi hasn’t done anything terrible enough to deserve getting such horrendous food delivered to his house. He knows he hasn’t been the nicest person lately, but he’s not at the soup punishment level of attitude. Right?

I was a good boy even if the Daddy across the street would question that. – Teddy

Teddy hasn’t done anything terrible…he’s just trying to make a point through healthy food. He’s feeding the cranky grump…and possibly trying to get his attention. It’s not his fault if the pain in question takes it as a punishment. Right?

When a mischievous little makes a point through soup shenanigans, a grump with a chip on his shoulder will finally look around and see there’s more to life than drama and frustration…there’s truly terrible soup, coloring, and Christmas presents.
