It took a bit longer than I planned to get a few things organized behind the scenes, but the audiobook for Too Close to Love is finally here.
I can’t wait to show you how sweet they sound together, and the timing has turned out to be pretty good because I’m working on the next book for those guys as we speak. The next book in the Loving series will be out sometime in September and it’s finally time for the sleepover as well as some other fun antics. Kevin just likes to stir the pot, as you already know.
Now we’re down to the practical bits.
-To get the audiobook, you’ll need to go to the book’s shop page and in the drop down menu under format, pick audiobook. Then go through the purchase as usual.
-Once you’ve bought the audiobook from my site, you’ll get another email from Bookfunnel to actually get the audio file.
–You’ll need to have an account with them (that’s free), but once you’ve got it set up, you can listen to the book through their app or you can go to their site and download the MP3 file.
-Remember to check your spam file to make sure the email doesn’t get sucked in there.
-Bookfunnel has great customer service, so once you have the email from them, if you run into a problem they can help you get it figured out.
I hope you enjoy having these guys on audiobook, and yes, I’m still trying to figure out paperbacks. I’ll let you know if I find a reasonable way to do that.
In the meantime, here’s a sample of the audiobook:
My to-be-written list has changed a dozen times since the beginning of the year. I kept finding random ideas in odd places and having to work them around the things I knew needed to be written, like finishing The Weight of a Word series and Bishop’s story—and don’t get me started about the sexy covers I had done that are definitely too hot for Amazon.
Picture fishnet stockings and a sexy ass.
Those covers are just…
Where was I?
Oh yes, my to-be-written list. I thought I had the rest of the year planned out until more ideas kept popping up left and right. So for right now this is a peek at how the next few months will go and a look at what I want to write depending on time (mine and the calendar).
–Their Alien (Nolan’s book) comes out tomorrow! I’m so excited for that one.
–The Weight of a Word books (2 books right now) are getting new covers, new titles, expanded a bit, and there will be a third book for these guys. The re-release for the series is going to start around the end of August, and the third book should be out toward the middle of September.
–The Dirty Daddies Anniversary Anthology will be out on September 28th and that’s a great deal for a ton of Daddy books including quite a few MM books this year. Mine is a sweet age play story where the guys meet when their blind dates stand them up. That’s going to lead into a new age play series with all kinds of Daddies and littles. Book one for that series should be out in mid-October.
-Between the age play books and the sexy brothers series (the covers with the fishnet stockings), there’s going to be another Too Close book and Bishop’s book (probably books). So there are definitely more stories than time left this year, but we’ll see what happens.
You guys wouldn’t mind books every week, right? I think that’s the only way my list and the actual calendar will work out just right.
I can’t wait to show you more glimpses into what’s coming up, but have fun with my aliens to start off the rest of the year.
Comment below and tell me what you are most excited to read!
Harper and Bailey are finally live along with a ton of other great stories in the new Dirty Daddies Pride anthology. These two have been friends with benefits at the club for a while, but they can’t seem to move past that…primarily because Bailey’s got a secret.
He’s a little and Harper has no idea.
These two are smoking hot and Bailey is the cutest but most disorganized little ever. I can’t wait for you to meet them.
Have fun with my sweet guys and with all the books in the anthology.
Here’s a small teaser:
I’d never seen myself as a brat and I honestly liked rules and regulations. That was part of why I liked my job so much. But it was one of the reasons being a grown-up was so hard. When you were an adult, you could literally eat cake for breakfast and there was no one to stop you.
It was like living constantly in a state of anarchy.
When I first started writing, I knew absolutely no one in the world of authors, much less where to find cover artists and editors and all the other wonderful people behind the scenes who help get books published.
Well, because of that, some of my original covers need to be updated a bit, and it’s time for Secrets in the Dark to get a makeover.
To celebrate the new cover by the wonderful Vicki Brostenianc, Secrets in the Dark ebook is going to be free from June 18th through the 22nd!
The preorder is up and the Dirty Daddies Pride Anthology will go live on June 25. It’s only $4.99 which is an awesome deal for so many great authors.
My story, A Leap of Faith, is about two guys you saw briefly in the new series around the Bound &Controlled club. (Bound Series and Tender Control Series) I can’t wait to introduce you to Harper and Bailey.
I can’t wait to show you their book!
Here’s the blurb for A Leap of Faith.
Something’s coming between them, but Harper can’t even begin to guess what’s wrong with his relationship with Bailey. Well, their almost relationship. When their only interactions are during scenes at the Bound & Controlled club, Harper can’t help but wonder if he even has the right to ask why Bailey is pulling away.
Bailey’s got a secret, and it’s eating away at him and his relationship with his Dom-with-benefits Harper. It doesn’t matter how he feels about Harper or what he envisions for their future, because Harper’s made one thing clear: he doesn’t like littles.
When assumptions and crossed wires erode a relationship, it’ll take a leap of faith to fix what’s broken.
When a friend recently pointed out that it had been two years since Dr. Sheppard’s book, Rethinking Fate, had come out I was shocked and actually went to look the date up online because I knew it hadn’t been that long.
Well, guess what?
I was wrong.
I still can’t believe it, though, and I refuse to do the math and think about how long it’s been since he first showed up in Secrets in the Dark. Time is moving by so fast, and it seems like just yesterday I started writing about him.
When Dr. S appeared in Secrets in the Dark, I thought it would be a one-time thing for him to show up, so I didn’t poke too hard at him when he gave me vague answers about his past and who he was. He kept trying to put everyone else first, and to begin with, I let him.
But he just kept popping up.
He’d show up here and there when I looked around and realized that my characters needed someone to talk to and to confide in. They can go to him about anything and nothing surprises him. I love having that kind of friend for the rest of my character to lean on, and I think part of what makes him so strong is his Daddy and how comfortable he is with his little side.
If you haven’t read about my sweet doctor and his Daddy, check out their story in Rethinking Fate.
