Tropes and Tenderness is finally live on Amazon and this grumpy/grumpy romance had its challenging moments when it came to writing it. I have the weirdest timeline in my notes and had to do fabulously fun research for this one…and I got to see how grumpy and grumpy behave when no one else can see them.

I’m excited to see what you think of Klynn and our human agent’s romance and I can’t wait to see what you think should happen next.

So…What the Heck IS Patreon? – Sale Through Feb 10th!

Ready for a sale? What happens on Patreon?

I have to admit, until I started looking for a better place to put bonus stuff and stories that didn’t really have a home, I hadn’t explored Patreon at all. I’m an old fart in a middle-aged body so that probably doesn’t surprise anyone.

It took me a while to figure out how I wanted to use Patreon, so don’t feel bad if you look at Patreon and wonder why you’d sign up for even a free account.

For me, Patreon is a fun place to put all the random things running around in my head. Random chats with Kevin where he’s driving everyone batty. Rambling about what I’ve been working on and what my plans are. First chapters of odd things that pop up (because I get the strangest ideas when I’m cleaning my kitchen). WIP chapters to see what readers think. And even full books with fun kinks like voyeurism that currently aren’t available anywhere else.

Just to give you an example, last year (that’s still a weird to write lol) I started the first chapter of a book about a math teacher who finds a werewolf in the animal shelter he volunteers at. I was curious to see what readers would think, so it went up on Patreon and now we’ve got about 10 chapters of the story up so far and more to come that haven’t been posted yet because these guys are chatty. It’ll actually be released on Amazon in April, but I’m having fun writing it now, so it’s going up on Patreon.

What else goes up on Patreon?

Sometimes the dragons or the college littles have the craziest text conversations.
Sometimes I post the first couple of pages of something and go…What do you think? Who do you think this character is? Why do you think he’s complaining about xyz?
The next random one that’s going up is…Why is this sub driving Conner insane?

Agent Murphy And The Gate – Tropes and Tenderness Bonus

A Peeping Tom and a Happy Ending – Patreon Exclusive, Watching Me, is Almost Complete!

Time for a Patreon check in.

We’re wrapping up the current book, Watching Me, and getting ready to start a new book. Watching Me is about an adorable Peeping Tom who ends up in a very curious Netflix-and-Chill type of relationship with the man in the next building.

It’s a date if you watch movies together and there’s a happy ending involved, right? It doesn’t matter if they’re not in the same room.

This has been so much fun and they got up to so many wonderfully naughty things, but all sexy stories must come to and end, and it’s time to jump into a new story. Klynn Meets Wren – A Tropes and Tenderness Bonus

Ready for a bonus?

When I first started working on Klynn and our grumpy human agent’s book, I had no idea where to start. They both just kept shrugging at me, which isn’t surprising considering how little they like sharing with anyone else. So I poked at them by doing some alternate point of view scenes to get them to start talking.

That got us moving in the right direction but wasn’t the lightning strike of inspiration I was hoping for. (They really are pains in the ass to everyone but each other.) But it did give me a few bonuses I could share with you guys.

Grumpy Meets Grumpy – Pre-Order Tropes and Tenderness Now

Grumpy is supposed to meet sunshine…that’s how the trope works.
Every reader knows that.
Klynn knows that.
Agent Murphy knows that.
It seems like no one told the mate bond that.

This was the temporary blurb and basically all I knew about their story when I put the preorder up for the next dragon book, Tropes and Tenderness.

We’ve got Klynn…a grumpy reader who isn’t going to talk about diner nonsense.

Then we’ve got Agent Murphy…a grumpy G-man who’s not going to talk about diner nonsense.
