Boring or Ridiculous? - Read The Best Bad Decision on Amazon, Free with KindleUnlimited - blog post by Shaw Montgomery - gay romance author

Our nosy neighbors are finally here.

The Best Bad Decision is live on Amazon and I just have to say thank you to everyone who left wonderful reviews while it was on Early Access or who messaged me. I really appreciate that and it just makes my day to see how much you love my ridiculous new characters.

Well, Atlee doesn’t think he’s ridiculous. He thinks he’s kind of boring and he thinks his neighbors are frustrating. He’s not boring, though. He’s steady and he’s still trying to understand what he needs out of a relationship to really be happy.

Casimir knows he’s ridiculous and he loves it. He also loves his crazy neighbors and he’s thoroughly enjoying helping Atlee fuck with his ex and drive the neighbors nuts. He also likes how steady Atlee is because he likes pulling back all that stuffy behavior to see what’s underneath.

I can’t wait to show you what he finds.

If you love the found family feeling in some of my books and the ridiculous neighbors in books like The Education of the Heart series, I think you’ll like this one. My favorite part is watching Atlee slowly figuring out what he was missing all the time, but some of you are going to like the crazy neighbors the best.

Have fun with Atlee and Casimir, and check out the first chapter of The Best Bad Decision if you haven’t already seen the teases for this in the newsletter, and thank you for leaving a review anywhere you’re able to. They really help and I appreciate them.

Is it really dating if you’re just helping a neighbor?

I’m the Queen of making bad decisions when it comes to fascinating men. Well, technically I’d be the King but I’m a bit too fabulous for that boring title. Which is also why I’m just a bit confused about why my strait-laced—and seemingly straight—neighbor thinks I’m the right person to help get his crazy ex off his back.

Is it really dating if you just need a bit of help from a neighbor?

I’m entirely too boring to be living in this much insanity, but with an ex who can’t seem to understand we’re done and everyone working against me, it’s time to try a different plan. Since politeness seems to have made things worse, my only option left is to ask for help from the most dramatic man I know…my favorite nosy neighbor.
