Aliens, Humans, and Tentacles – His Human Out Now!

I’ve always loved sci-fi books. Aliens who crash on earth and fall in love…Stargate…Star Trek…Captain Picard was my first love. I’ve always imagined writing science fiction of some sort, but I never pictured my first alien book being about tentacles.

Of course, it turned out to be so much fun to write, I had to do another.

His Human is the second in the New Neighbors series. In My Cameron, you met Cameron’s best friend and boss Trip. Well, His Human is Trip and Maverick’s story. If you haven’t read any of the chapters of this in my Facebook group or in the newsletter, I can’t wait for you to see how sexy and funny they are.

I love getting to write about my aliens and exploring how they see relationships and humans in general. The curious way they explore love and sex and human needs are some of my favorite things to explore. Especially when it leads to me getting to write fabulously sexy things like breath play.

Tentacle Porn…But Make It Sweet and Sexy – His Human Pre-Order Now!

I know some of you have browsed through my MA Innes books on Amazon and scrolled through all the stories I’ve written before stopping at My Cameron and giving it a curious look. The cover alone definitely makes it stand out, but aside from the aliens aspect, it’s really the same sweet, sexy type of characters that are in my other books.

Some of you have heard this story before, but I originally started thinking about tentacles from a post in a Facebook book group. A few people were talking about tentacle porn and just having a good time and it got me thinking about what my version of tentacle porn would look like.

Sweet and dirty and much more romantic than I’d expected, but not a big surprise in the end, really. However, I had so much fun writing the first chapter that eventually they got a full book.
Bit by bit.

The mostly unedited chapters of their story were posted in my Facebook group, just like the new chapters of Trip and Maverick’s book are going up now (and in the newsletter). I love being able to see readers’ reactions as the story unfolds. It makes it all more special somehow.

Getting to Know Leon Better – Learning to Love Coming November 13th!

My confused Leon and my sweet Morgan…their story turned out differently than I thought it would when I sat down to originally begin figuring out Leon, but I love the way it turned out.

One of my favorite things to write about is college age characters because they’re still figuring out who they are, and I love that whole process. At the start of Learning to Trust, Leon had shoved his emotions to the back burner and was basically just putting one foot in front of the other. Destin pulled him out of his shell a bit (complaining and grumbling the whole way lol), but Leon still didn’t know who he was.

In Learning to Love, they both grow even more and we get to see more of Leon’s background. Meeting Leon’s parents for the first time is stressful and interesting for Morgan, but it really lets him get to know more about who Leon is inside.

Watching these two come together has been so much fun. Learning to Love is the last book for them, but I know that they’re going to pop up later down the line in interesting places. If you haven’t read Learning to Trust yet, these two have sweet age play, a bit of BDSM, and some fun scenes with Destin from The Only Way to Dream.

What’s Coming Next? Books in November, December, and 2021

Nothing ever goes according to plan for me…I write out a list of what I want to write and my characters giggle and do their own thing.

In early October as I was finishing the last book for Leon and Morgan, I started poking at several ideas and I told myself I was going to write a new Beautiful Shame book. But my brain didn’t like that idea. With everything going on lately, and just the general chaos in my head, it all came to a screeching halt.

Well, not a complete halt. I have names and fabulously dirty ideas about what they’re doing to do together, but for those books I have to be in a certain frame of mind to write them. So now that my kids are back in person at the school part-time (two days a week), I’m going to try again because those are so much fun to write.

But that left me wandering around my house mid-October trying to decide what to focus on. So I started poking at my list again and rearranging things. That put Maverick and Trip at the top of the list suddenly. It wasn’t the order I’d planned to have their book done, but they were chatting and fun to write, so that worked for me.

So what’s coming up… Well, Leon and Morgan’s second book is up on preorder(here) and will be out on November 13th. (Check out Book 1 here.)

After that, we’ve got Trip and Maverick’s completed book coming out on November 29th. (Don’t forget to check out My Cameron before Trip’s book comes out!

Then in mid-December the goal is to jump back into the Beautiful Shame books because I love writing those and the dirty talk in those books is always so much fun.

I’ve saved the best for last, though…

Next year we’re going back to the B&C club in several books. The Bound & Controlled club is getting another series with lots of fun club action and lots of fun cameos from the guys from the first series.

We’re also going to see more of Bishop and Gray from the Leashes & Lace world, as well as more of Loren and Gordon. I’ve got great ideas for all the guys and now I just need to clone myself so I can get it all written.

Griffin and Wade…From Friends to Lovers

One of the most asked about omegas is always Wade. From the very beginning when he showed up in the prequel, readers were asking about his life and if he would get his happily ever after. Well, it took a while, but he’s finally ready to fall in love again.
