A Take Charge Daddy and a Free-Spirited Boy – Dirty Daddies 2020 Anthology

We all want to belong. Sometimes it’s little things that make us feel like we’re part of the club. In writing, one of the things that really made me feel like I belong was getting asked to do the Dirty Daddies anthology for this year. It probably sounds silly, but it’s basically other authors looking at you and saying that they like your work and they trust you to do the best you can when you participate.

But, man, writing shorter stories is soooo hard.

Like insanely frustrating.

Like it takes three times as long as it should to write because everyone in my head is long-winded.

Like they want to tell you what they bought at the grocery store kind of long-winded just because they want to chat.

So wrangling Loren and Gordon into a complete but not two-hundred-page story wasn’t easy, but the three of us managed it. Mostly Gordon, honestly. He’s the take-charge Daddy type who likes watching over Loren.

Loren is the smart, free-spirited type who doesn’t really want to grow up and Gordon loves that about him. Gordon just doesn’t understand what that might mean until a friend at work (someone by the name of Sawyer) starts talking to him about types of submission he’s never thought much about.

Something about Loren has sweet age play, a bit of BDSM, and some fun cameos. The anthology will go live on September 29th and is now on preorder at Amazon, Apple, and Barnes & Noble. The anthology is a mix of MF and MM stories and is available for $0.99, so it’s a fabulous deal.

Jeremy and Kevin Are Back! Too Close to Doubt – Out September 20th

Having characters in your head is almost like having friends that come into your life. Sometimes they’re in and out, and sometimes they stick around for a while. Kevin and Jeremy, whose first book was Too Close to Love, have been characters that settled in for the long haul and made it clear they weren’t going to budge.

One book…two books…I kept thinking that eventually they’d stop talking or that readers would get tired of hearing about them, but that hasn’t been the case yet. They are still as chatty as ever, and they’re some of the characters I get asked about the most.

Recently I sat down and started poking at them and figuring out what they’d been up to. Kevin happily rambled on about their new house and school and what everyone has been doing and had a ton to tell you guys about, including some sexy fun and what their father has been up to. Their new story, Too Close to Doubt, is out now on my site and on Smashwords.

If you haven’t read the series yet and you’re curious, the first book in the series, Too Close to Love, is free on my site, or you can grab it on Smashwords.

My Most Taboo Yet? – Flashback Post About “Too Close to Love”

This book came from multiple different angles for me. I never set out to write incest, even though the topic always pulled at my brain. But one day, I was listening to a song (lol “Hallelujah” by Pentatonix of all things) and something about one of the voices hit me. I was curious about why he sounded so sad…and my imagination took off. I can even picture where I was sitting when I was listening to the song. It’s still super clear to me.

As I started to think about the characters and story ideas, I realized he wanted something he thought he couldn’t have. The more I thought about it, the more I realized he was in love with his brother. It was then that I started thinking about someone I knew who had been in a relationship like that at one point.

Their life didn’t turn out to be anything like what they’d wanted, so I knew I was going to use my book to give them the happily ever after that they didn’t get. Incest brings to mind all kinds of different things for people, but Too Close to Love is a sweet, slow-burn romance where you see how their love grows.

The first book just about wrote itself; the characters and story were just that clear. If you’ve never tried reading incest, Too Close to Love is a great place to start!

How a Real Life Town and College Inspired The Setting For Three Series

There have always been certain places in my life that I just felt like I belonged…that it was where I was supposed to be. I always knew I would move back to North Carolina, no matter how many places I moved to in the meantime. But the first place I knew was a space I’d return to was Williamsburg, Virginia.

Even as a young teenager, the first time I saw the campus of William & Mary I knew that was where I wanted to be. So it probably won’t surprise you that when I started imagining a college for my guys where they could learn to be themselves and be happy, I always pictured that campus in my head.

I’ve taken a lot of liberties with the town and the surrounding area, but it’s the feel of the college and the way the town spreads out around it that I love and wanted to give to my guys.

I got a chance this week to walk through Williamsburg and the college again, this time showing it to my teenage kids, and that feeling came rushing back. It was wonderful getting to soak up that feeling again, even if my kids don’t really understand. However, they humored me and we had a great time so I have no complaints.

But as we walked around the mostly deserted campus, I couldn’t help but picture how my guys would look there…Kevin running across campus because he was late or Bryan hiding out between some of the buildings just because he needed a break…and Cody wandering between the buildings with his head in the clouds.

They’re all so very real to me, and I can’t help but think that some of that realness is because I’ve always imagined them in one of my favorite places.

Pictures in this post are from my recent trip to campus, and although I’ve taken a lot of liberties with the town, I hope you enjoy seeing where I imagine them wandering around.

George and Cameron…coming July 26th!

George…how do I describe George? Well, over a year ago now, there was a conversation in a taboo book group on Facebook about tentacle porn. So, of course, it got me thinking about what my version of tentacle porn would look like. Well, it turned out to involve aliens and a lot of steamy, sweet romance.

When I wrote the first chapter, I thought that would be all there was to the story because it was supposed to be just for fun. I never dreamed anyone would find it hot and cute and want to know more about George and Cameron.

After a while, I started adding chapters to it and posting them in my Facebook group, just to share with them. It was honestly a surprise every time a group member would ask me when I was going to write another chapter for George and Cameron.

Eventually, readers started wanting to know when their story would be coming out as a book. I’d never even thought about doing that. But they got me thinking again…that’s obviously very dangerous. I can’t wait to see what you guys think of George and Cameron. If you want more from this world please let me know. While the way the relationship grows and how sweet they are together are very similar to my other books, this is about aliens. You guys will need to let me know if you want more.

Check out the first chapter here if you’re curious.

Second-Guessing Love Out now!

For those of you who like my incest books, I have a short (16k words) twincest, Second-Guessing Love, that was written because of some inspiration from my editor. It’s not quite as sweet as my usual stories, but they’re definitely hot and know what they want. Gage is a bit stalker-ish when it comes to his twin Justin, so I’m curious to see what you think of my sexy stalker and his clueless twin.

The book is also up on Smashwords for those of you who would rather buy from them.
