Bound Between You is Now Available!

Threesomes are so much fun to write. Something about the dynamics change when there are three people in a relationship, and I love getting to explore that. In Bound between You, Niall and Julian already tried to date in the past, but it basically exploded in their faces. Tentacles Are Even Better in Audiobooks

I love getting to write my aliens, but hearing them in audiobook is almost as much fun. Trip and Maverick are now out in audiobook, and I have to say that hearing Trip’s mother in the audiobook makes her even funnier. The sex scenes are steamy, but her mom-ness made me laugh.

Unexpected Surprises From My Own Characters – Bound To You Available NOW!

One of my favorite places to take my characters is the Bound & Controlled club…well, that and to Italian restaurants because pasta is my weakness…but we’re here to talk about my characters, not fettuccine alfredo, so I’m going to stick to the point. (If you can’t tell, I’m writing this when I’m starving.)

Okay, back to the club.

I love that when they go to the club there are so many different things they can see and experience. Watching how they react to the different scenes and types of people that are in the club is fun, and sometimes it’s a learning experience for me.

Like with Asa.

Everyone loves Conner (one of the owners at the club). I’d never had a character who didn’t find him funny at the very least, so it was a complete surprise when I sat down to start writing Asa’s story and Conner was driving him insane. It was so much fun to watch and it made me curious to see where Asa would take me next…and I can’t wait to show you what happens in his story.

Bound to You is out now, and it’s a sweet, slow-burn, age gap romance with two guys who love control and have a passionate but maybe slightly obsessive love for one another.

2 Year Publishiversary of Rethinking Fate

When a friend recently pointed out that it had been two years since Dr. Sheppard’s book, Rethinking Fate, had come out I was shocked and actually went to look the date up online because I knew it hadn’t been that long.

Well, guess what?

I was wrong.

I still can’t believe it, though, and I refuse to do the math and think about how long it’s been since he first showed up in Secrets in the Dark. Time is moving by so fast, and it seems like just yesterday I started writing about him.

When Dr. S appeared in Secrets in the Dark, I thought it would be a one-time thing for him to show up, so I didn’t poke too hard at him when he gave me vague answers about his past and who he was. He kept trying to put everyone else first, and to begin with, I let him.

But he just kept popping up.

He’d show up here and there when I looked around and realized that my characters needed someone to talk to and to confide in. They can go to him about anything and nothing surprises him. I love having that kind of friend for the rest of my character to lean on, and I think part of what makes him so strong is his Daddy and how comfortable he is with his little side.
