Caring for My Boy (An MM Dominating His Father Taboo Romance)
$3.99
Something had to change or there wasn’t going to be anything left of either of them.
Jace is tired. He’s tired of fear…tired of worrying what will happen if he looks away…of not knowing how to help…of watching someone he loves waste away.
His father.
Victor is tired. He’s tired of living without a purpose…tired of feeling lost…of trying to do everything on his own…of watching the person he loves most putting his life on hold.
His son.
Two lost men. One simple question. What would you do to help the man you loved?

Important Author’s Note:
As much as I love characters who make the choice to have good mental health and go talk to a therapist of some sort, there will always be characters who don’t make the most reasonable choice or even a passable one.
Jace and Victor’s story is an M/m incest romance between a father and son that has unhealthy logic and a lot of justification, but they’re consenting adults who care deeply about each other and I can see how we got to this point.
Overwhelming grief.
Content warnings are always hard to write because the things that upset people can vary wildly, but this story addresses grief, the loss of a loved one/parent, therapy that didn’t go right the first time, incest, and has mentions of suicidal fears but no actual attempt on page or in the past.

Samantha Nelson –
This book was so good. I read it all in a day. I loved the characters which isn’t a surprise because I always love the characters when it comes to MA Innes. It was so well written. Definitely recommend. Awesome book!

I knew if anyone could do this right it would be M. A. Innes. I’ve read a few father/son books and they were okay but this was much better. We got a good feel of what was going on and what had happened before Jace made his decision and that really made this work. I do think we needed more build up of the D/s before things got physical and I do think there needs to be more time before they get to the claim part. It seems to me that this is Viktor’s ideal and the difference needs to be explored more. Overall though I felt the author made it more emotional and human than these types of stories are usually done.

This book is so good I read it in one sitting. What would you do to make someone you love happy again? For Jace the answer is just about anything, and with a little suspension of disbelief I can see how they got there. I really like how Jace works very hard to make his dad’s life better. This book is sweet, a little sad, and with hurt/comfort. It is a bit different than most of this author’s books, but I really enjoyed it. If you like taboo and hurt/comfort this is the book for you.
