As much as I love characters who make the choice to have good mental health and go talk to a therapist of some sort, there will always be characters who don’t make the most reasonable choice or even a passable one.
Jace and Victor’s story is an M/m incest romance between a father and son that has unhealthy logic and a lot of justification, but they’re consenting adults who care deeply about each other and I can see how we got to this point.
Overwhelming grief.
Content warnings are always hard to write because the things that upset people can vary wildly, but this story addresses grief, the loss of a loved one/parent, therapy that didn’t go right the first time, incest, and has mentions of suicidal fears but no actual attempt on page or in the past.

When dealing with loss, one seems to flounder and this is the story of two souls who are at loss when they loose their compass. Victor is not coping well and it’s up to his son Jace to step and take the reins and become the Dom that his father needs.
A story that is more emotional than kinky with a taboo aspect that some need to take heed of.
An engaging read for sure.

I absolutely loved this story. This is a taboo story but it was also so sweet. I really enjoyed the dynamic between these two. This is set in the author’s college world and if you’ve read the other stories you will definitely recognize a few characters that pop up. This was an amazing story that was equal parts sweet and spicy and I really didn’t want it to end.
