ShiMMer February 22nd!

Where in the world is Shaw Montgomery?

Well, right now I’m hiding from my children because they have the day off from school, but in just a few weeks (February 22nd) I’m going to be in Birmingham, UK at ShiMMer! For those of you in the UK and other parts of Europe, ShiMMer will be packed with MM authors.

ShiMMer 2020 Author Event

My preorder will be closing in just a few days, so if there were books you wanted to get, now is the time to order them.

Preorder books here.

I can’t wait to see everyone and please come up and say hi—because the rule at these events is that we don’t let Shaw stand around looking like a lost soccer mom or confused insurance salesman.

It’s going to be a great time, so I hope those of you who are in the UK can come.

Here’s the link for more information if you want to check out ShiMMer.

Snow Regrets is LIVE!

Snow Regrets is live!

When I first thought about how the book would look with it primarily being just about the two main characters, since they’re trapped because of a snowstorm, I wasn’t sure how it would go.

But it turns out when you trap two sweet characters together… one needing to fix things and the other needing love… they talk to each other and the sweet moments just seem to jump off the page. Blanket forts, bath times and cuddles… so much tenderness even though they’re both assuming it can’t last once the snow is gone.

Check out the first chapter here if you’re curious.

2020 Update: Snow Regrets is now Trapped With His Temporary Daddy

Trapped with his Temporary Daddy by MA Innes - Gay Romance Book Cover

When Joseph gets trapped with his father’s former coworker in one of the worst snowstorms of the year, he starts to wonder what ancient god he must’ve pissed off. After being kicked out of the house at eighteen and having to make his way on his own, the last thing he wants is to be stuck with the sexy older man.

Forest isn’t looking for a relationship, but when Joseph steps back into his life, grown up and hurting, he can’t walk away. Maybe it’s the Daddy Dom in him, but leaving Joseph confused and angry goes against everything he believes in. But getting Joseph to open up is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to helping him move on from the past.

When a boy is frustrated and confused, can a temporary Daddy step in and help, or will unexpected emotions steer things in a surprising new direction?

Snow Regrets…Pre-order now!

Joseph and Forest…The basic idea for the new Snowed In series of Valentine’s Inc books is about being snowed in with the last person you want to see. I knew right off the bat my characters hadn’t seen each other in years and there were some unresolved issues between them, but I wasn’t sure how their relationship would work.

Well, it turns out that Joseph is hiding a lot of hurt and frustration, and Forest is emotionally exhausted from spending the last few years with Doctors Without Borders. Forest is a Daddy that doesn’t have anyone who needs him, which is starting to eat away at him, and Joseph really doesn’t want to admit how badly he needs someone. He’s spent the last few years completely on his own and he isn’t sure he’s ready to let anyone back in.

They’re perfect for each other, but first, they have to get past the idea that once the snow disappears, they’ll go their own separate ways again. No matter what they’re telling themselves, they weren’t meant to have just a temporary relationship.

I can’t wait to see what you think. Check out the first chapter of Snow Regrets.

Jeremy and Kevin are back!

Jeremy and Kevin… they were characters I never thought anyone would want to read about. When I wrote the first book in the Loving series, Too Close to Love, I was pretty sure about five people would read it and no one would be able to relate to them, but I had to tell their story anyway.

I wrote Too Close to Love over a long weekend, and I’d never had characters who were so clear from the very beginning. I remember thinking how sweet they were together, but I was afraid of what you guys would think. I just want to thank you for all the wonderful messages and comments about how much you love them.

If you haven’t had a chance to read their story yet, Too Close to Love is free on my site all the time as well as being free on Smashwords through the end of the year.

The fifth book in the series, Too Close to Lose, continues their journey and is now available too. It can be found on my website and on Smashwords. Being able to see them grow in their relationship and to start their journey into adulthood has been so much fun.

Too Close to Lose - Loving Series Book 5 by MA Innes- Gay Romance Book Cover

All Kevin wants to know is how to be the best almost big brother ever…and if he happens to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up, that would be good too. The only thing he’s confident about is that he loves being a middle and having a playroom would be perfect.

All Jeremy wants to know is where the last two years went and where their lives will go now that he’s graduated. From helping Kevin figure out how to be a middle to determining how much longer they should stay in their apartment, it seems like everything is starting to change.

When decisions have to be made, the only thing they really know is that their love for each other has never been stronger…and just maybe, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to keep their unconventional extended family together.

Surprise! Snow Regrets coming in January

I’m so excited to finally be able to tell you about my surprise.

In January, I’m going to be releasing a new age play book that will be part of the next Valentine’s Inc series.

Snow Regrets will be releasing on January 21st and will be out on preorder later this month. For now, head over to Nora Phoenix’s blog here to check out the cover and to see more about my new guys.

Two Alphas and One Omega?…Out December 6th!

My omegas are back.

I love characters who go against convention, and these omegas always do their own thing which makes them even more fun to write. (What can I say, I like it when they surprise me.)

Jonah was especially entertaining to write because Graham was very quiet at first. Getting him to open up wasn’t easy, but it turned out he just needed his alpha partner around to show who he really is. Russ is so outgoing and confident that when he popped up on the scene, everything about Graham’s hesitation made complete sense.

Jonah is an MMM romance where the two alphas have a relationship before Jonah meets them, but there is no cheating and both alphas are enthusiastic about finding the omega they want to share their life with. Graham’s a little shy about telling Jonah about his relationship with Russ, but Russ doesn’t mind taking the lead there and loves driving Graham a bit nuts.

I hope you have as much fun reading their story as I did writing it.

Check out a preview of chapter 1 here.

Jonah- Romance and Revolutions Series book 3 by Shaw Montgomery- Gay Romance Book Cover

Love is worth waiting for—at least, that’s what Jonah keeps telling himself.

Taking care of everyone else while he tries to find the alpha of his dreams isn’t easy, but he loves the family he’s found. However, he’s starting to wish there was someone who just wanted to take care of him. But when omegas are supposed to demand equal rights in everything, how is he supposed to confess that all he wants is to surrender completely?

Russ has always told Graham that their omega would be worth waiting for. Unfortunately, it’s taken longer for the two alphas to find him than they ever expected. But Russ knows when his hesitant lover comes home talking about the sweet omega he’s working for that the future they dreamed of is finally within their reach.

Sometimes love really is worth waiting for—especially when it comes in an unconventional package.
