The people in my head have opinions about everything from how clean my house is to what’s going on in the real world. Most of the time it’s not worth writing down but they were really funny with the space launch that happened last night (I’m writing this on the morning of 4/2).
So I thought I’d share some of their very random thoughts…
-Kevin and Kenzie are both curious about how to become astronauts but they’re not willing to put in that much effort. They’re curious but not stupid and realize it’ll be a lot. Somehow, though, they’re both positive they could talk themselves onto a space shuttle and images of that 1980s movie about the kids from Space Camp kept popping up in my head. (Kevin is from The Loving Series and Kenzie is from the Magic and Mayhem)
-Boyd and Talon are both convinced that fearing whatever Kevin and Kenzie would do is perfectly reasonable and their anxiety is spiking. (Boyd is from Secrets and Kisses and Talon is from Magic and Mayhem)
-Braun looked around as we were watching the shuttle go up and was very confused. He said “that’s nice” but had no idea it was going on. He’s more focused on the box of MREs (military meals that never go bad lol) ended up on his porch and he’s asking of you know what to do with them. He’s slightly worried Dorian is going to blame him for it. (Braun and Dorian are from The Math Teacher and His Werewolf)
-Our new doll with the name issue is chatting a mile a minute about all kinds of random facts about the first moon landing that seem to be a mix of real stuff from documentaries and hoax stuff. You’ll see why this makes a lot of sense when his book comes out lol. (No book yet for our new doll! If you want to read a dollification book in the meantime, check out Luca and Emerson)
-Bryan, Cody, and several more of the college cuties refused to watch and are basically hiding from it just in case. I’m with them. I’m a worrier. (Bryan is from the Pieces Series. Cody is from the Embrace Duet. You can see a list of all the college based books on this page.)
And an utterly irrational number of people in my head are somehow convinced this isn’t happening at all. To them it’s either a hoax or some kind of weird April Fool’s Day joke. I’m not even going to try to work on convincing imaginary people what’s real…but April 1st was a terrible day to do something like this.
