Learning to Trust and My Cameron Now on Audible!

I’ve been watching Audible for days wondering which of the new audiobooks would show up first…and wouldn’t you know, they came out on the same day.

Learning to Trust is the first book in The Education of the Heart series. It’s an age play romance with a Daddy who doesn’t realize he’s a Daddy and isn’t sure how to define his sexuality. This is a slow burn romance, but there are a lot of tender moments between them. Book two in the series will be out on audiobook sometime around the end of March, so you won’t have to wait too long.

My Cameron is the other audiobook that just came out and is the first book in my New Neighbors series. These fun tentacle alien books are sweet and hot. If you haven’t read the books yet, check these out because they’re a lot cuter than you’re probably imagining. The second book is also going to be out in the next two months, depending on how things go behind the scenes.

I can’t wait to see what you think of the audiobooks. While they’re very different on the surface, they both have sweet subs and Doms that see things a little bit differently…and those are both some of my favorite kinds of characters, so have fun with the new audiobooks.

Comment below what book(s) really want to see in audiobook next (lol but not the Too Close books…those can’t go up on Audible or any of the main platforms)

  1. It was a sad day when the world lost Kenneth Obi. I will miss his voice.
As a 95% audiobook listener (around 250+ hours per month) here is my wish list.
I would like to see you complete any incomplete audiobook series, starting with the Mechanics of Love Book 3 then Leashes and Lace Series.
I know it will be hard to go from Kenneth’s voice to another voice mid series but currently I am going from Kenneth’s voice to my Kindle’s Text to Speech which is hard to do as well and would love to see these series finished.
For new books I would like to see narrated besides continuing The Education of the Heart and The New Neighbors series, would be Rethinking Fate because Dr. Sheppard plays such a supporting role in many of the other books/series and I would like to listen to his story by a narrator instead of by Text to Speech.
The other would be Friends, Lovers, and Family as that one is harder to follow with Text to Speech. By narrating this one you could also line up the voices to their coordinating series.
The hardest part would be Ford, Jameson, and Cody’s part of the book since it can’t match their series. Maybe using a team of narrators (2 or 3) to do this book would work the best.
Your books was one of the main driving forces for me to get a new Kindle a few years ago just so I could use the Text to Speech option as I am very busy and seem to never have time to curl up with a book but by listening I don’t have to lose my favorite hobby of reading. My headphones go on every morning and don’t come back off until bedtime. I usually have a book running 1/2 to 3/4 of my waking hours most days.
Now what I would like to see you write is a more detailed look into Ben and Connor’s story I know you brushed over it in The Owners in The Bound and Controlled Series but I have always felt like I would love to hear their story in more detail.
While I have a handful of authors that I follow for new releases and updates. You are the only author I have that I buy any new story Kindle or Audible that comes out under either of your names, usually without reading the summary before purchase because I have never been disappointed and know they will be wonderful
Thank you for letting me express my thoughts on this matter and thank you for writing such wonderful stories.

    1. Thank you for the nice words about Kenneth and about my audiobooks. The problem for doing a lot of them is cost. There is no way I can do a book with multiple narrators because the cost would end up being thousands for an audiobook to be produced. I know that this is more than most readers want to hear so if this is too much detail please just ignore me, but audible has been making it more difficult to break even on audiobooks with their policies and pricing strategies. With the problem of returns and how little we make on the audiobooks some of the older books or single books like Dr. Sheppard’s just aren’t practical for me to ever have put into audiobook. I’m very grateful that you like my books and I wish I could do more audiobooks but they just don’t sell enough to justify the expense for every book or even most of the books. One example that comes to mind is that if someone in Australia buys one of my audiobooks through Whispersync I end up getting about $0.35 for the sale. That’s just not practical. I’m going to try to do a few more audiobooks this year but I can’t promise how many that will be.

    1. I’m still working out how to do that. The original narrator who did most of my audiobooks passed away last year and I’m not sure how I want to do those projects just yet. But I’m glad you liked the books thank you.

  2. So so so happy Education of the Heart series is getting narration. I was disappointed at first not to hear Kenneth Obi’s voice as I absolutely love what he does with your books, but I think Zachary Zaba did a great job capturing Destin and Morgan’s characters. It grew on me and I came to love it. I’d bring him back for more, maybe one or two of the Beautiful Shame or Unconditional Love series and have Kenneth Obi do the other half. I think Kenneth should do Pieces series though.

I’d love to see the Unconditional Love series narrated next, followed by the Pieces series and Beautiful Shame series.

    1. Unfortunately the reason Kenneth didn’t do these books is that he passed away last year. It was very sudden and he is greatly missed. I think he would have done a great job on the new books and I really wish we’d had time to have him do some of the Beautiful Shame books. But thank you for letting me know which books you’d like to see in audiobook it’s always really hard to figure out which books to have done. Thank you.

      1. Oh, no! That’s just awful! I’ve listened to what feels like an entire bookshelf full of works narrated by him! His talents were incredible. I’ll never forget the very first book I listened to that he narrated, The Accidental Master, I feel like he captured Cooper, Sawyer, and a Jackson perfectly! I can’t imagine anyone else doing those voices. I imagine working with him so much you may have become friends over the years too. I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. We will all miss his talents, but will treasure what he left behind.

        1. He always said Cooper was one of his favorite characters to narrate because he was so bouncy and fun. I had a hard time imagining working with anyone else which was why it took so long to do any other. Thank you. He will definitely be missed.
