• What’s Coming Up?

Oh, that’s a hard question…the answer is everything, really. I’ve got several books and ideas in various stages. -One of the things I’m actively writing is a novella for the Dirty Daddies Pride Anthology (June) that has Tony and Loki from the coffee shop in it. (You meet them in A Whipped Cream Kind of Day.) Skyler snaps and he’s demanding they fix their drama (that’s the definition of irony right there). Remy has to step in and try to help them sort their snark into something more productive…like romance. They’re so cute. I can’t wait to show you more about their story. -I’m also working on the next book for TC and Perry. I love getting to write the […]

  • What’s Coming Up for Shaw Montgomery and MA Innes in 2022?

What’s coming up for 2022? I think a better question is what isn’t coming up! The people in my head are all jumping around, ready for a chance to tell their story, and I’ve got three different books I’m working on right now. The list of stuff I want to write this year is growing by the day… So far I know I’m going to have a few more age play stories, specifically A Milkshake Kind of Morning, which will be out later in January, and another one in the same series for the cutie that bought coffee for the lawyers in Skyler’s book. I’m also working on a disaster book that’s so much fun to write, and I can’t […]

  • 2021 Release Schedule Update – Aliens, Littles, Brothers, and more!

My to-be-written list has changed a dozen times since the beginning of the year. I kept finding random ideas in odd places and having to work them around the things I knew needed to be written, like finishing The Weight of a Word series and Bishop’s story—and don’t get me started about the sexy covers I had done that are definitely too hot for Amazon. Picture fishnet stockings and a sexy ass. Those covers are just… Where was I? Oh yes, my to-be-written list. I thought I had the rest of the year planned out until more ideas kept popping up left and right. So for right now this is a peek at how the next few months will go […]

  • Lessons From 2020

I’ve learned a lot this year…more than I thought I would. In January, my only thoughts were about the places I was going to travel to in 2020. I had a fabulous list planned filled with family vacations and tons of reader and author conventions (yay tax write-offs lol) That all changed fairly quickly. I got one wonderful trip to England in February for a book convention and then the world shut down. I won’t rehash details we all know too well, but as my kids and I stayed home and stayed home and stayed home, and eventually watched enough YouTube that we decided to get real work done, I learned a few things. (In truly a weird random order…) […]

  • Inspiration for a New Sub

Starting a book for me is always a very random process. I find inspiration in odd things like song lyrics or comments on the radio or bits of conversations I hear when I’m running errands. Sometimes it’s a picture, but not very often. Usually finding a picture that fits my idea of who the characters are comes late in the process. But once in a while, that changes. A few weeks ago I was browsing through Facebook and I saw a premade cover (a book cover a designer had put together randomly and not for any specific author) and I knew he was one of my guys. But I didn’t know what I was going to do with him. I […]

  • What’s Coming Next? Books in November, December, and 2021

Nothing ever goes according to plan for me…I write out a list of what I want to write and my characters giggle and do their own thing. In early October as I was finishing the last book for Leon and Morgan, I started poking at several ideas and I told myself I was going to write a new Beautiful Shame book. But my brain didn’t like that idea. With everything going on lately, and just the general chaos in my head, it all came to a screeching halt. Well, not a complete halt. I have names and fabulously dirty ideas about what they’re doing to do together, but for those books I have to be in a certain frame of […]
