Wanna peek at something I’m playing with?
One of my favorite things to read and some of my favorite older movies are about disasters. Running from floods and earthquakes and dodging asteroids. I love ‘em.
And it’s one of those things I’ve been wanting to write since I first started exploring being an author.
So over the past six months or so, one of the things I’ve been watching online are different science(okay science-ish) “what if” documentaries, and I fell in love with the idea of a tsunami on the east coast of the US. Now, just to be very clear, I started writing this before the actual volcanic issues in the Canary Islands. The real life problems they’re facing are heartbreaking.
This story is a light take on what could’ve happened and how it would’ve affected two young men. It’s definitely frenemies to lovers, but I think you’re going to enjoy how Trey drives Donovan absolutely insane.
I hope you have fun with what is now still called my disaster book. Eventually, it might get a name. Fingers crossed. I can’t wait to see what you think, but please remember these are work in progress chapters that have not been edited.

Donovan’s day just keeps getting worse.
It might not have been the zombie apocalypse, but a tsunami and hurricane hitting the East Coast at the same time was definitely the start to a bad B-movie. Alone and doing his best to run from the impending wall of water that was only hours away, Donovan thought his day couldn’t get any worse. It could.
