What I’m Working On – A Prequel, A Bonus, And a Sequel!

Right now, I’m finishing up something that’s been a surprise for a while as I figured out how it was going to look…the story of how Ben and Conner met. These two own the Bound & Controlled club and haven’t really talked much about their relationship.

However, with enough poking and prodding, they’ve started to actually open up to me and not just randomly flirt and talk about the club.Conner is always chatty…just never about himself, so I was excited to see how they fell in love. Let’s just say it’s been slightly unexpected but I’m having fun with it.

Becoming The Owners should be out mid-month (short preorder) and is a novella about the start of their relationship. Stay tuned later this week for the blurb and the cover and a peek at their story.

The rest of the week is going to be working on a fun bonus chapter for Finley and Jared that I should’ve already written if I’d stayed on track in January…hint hint…I did not. But I know exactly what I’m going to write and it shouldn’t take long at all. So depending on editing schedules, it might be ready by this weekend.

I’ve got a lot of other random starts and ideas to play with, but after I get Ben and Conner done and the bonus chapter all wrapped up, it’s time to jump back into Perry and TC’s story from His to Dare. They’re going to be my main focus the rest of this month and then I’ll poke at some of the other fun things that have popped up recently like the cutie that lives downstairs from Brady and Jude (Save Me Santa).

So lots to be written and lots to do in my real life because my daughter is going to college in the fall (University for those of you in the UK) and the to-do list for that stuff is growing by leaps and bounds every time I turn around. It’s just amazing to see how different two Universities are that are so close together, and I have to say that my son’s school last year was much more organized.

I hope you guys are having a great week so far and that we all stay wonderfully productive.

Who’s Ready for a New Kind of Adrenaline Pumping Story? Introducing Donovan and Trey

Wanna peek at something I’m playing with?

One of my favorite things to read and some of my favorite older movies are about disasters. Running from floods and earthquakes and dodging asteroids. I love ‘em.

And it’s one of those things I’ve been wanting to write since I first started exploring being an author.

So over the past six months or so, one of the things I’ve been watching online are different science(okay science-ish) “what if” documentaries, and I fell in love with the idea of a tsunami on the east coast of the US. Now, just to be very clear, I started writing this before the actual volcanic issues in the Canary Islands. The real life problems they’re facing are heartbreaking.

This story is a light take on what could’ve happened and how it would’ve affected two young men. It’s definitely frenemies to lovers, but I think you’re going to enjoy how Trey drives Donovan absolutely insane.

I hope you have fun with what is now still called my disaster book. Eventually, it might get a name. Fingers crossed. I can’t wait to see what you think, but please remember these are work in progress chapters that have not been edited.

I’m hoping to post chapters about once a week. You can find them on my WIP Book Page here. I’d love to hear what you think, so feel free to contact me through the site or join my Facebook group.

Disaster Book - MA Innes

What’s Coming Up for Shaw Montgomery and MA Innes in 2022?

What’s coming up for 2022? I think a better question is what isn’t coming up!

The people in my head are all jumping around, ready for a chance to tell their story, and I’ve got three different books I’m working on right now.

The list of stuff I want to write this year is growing by the day…

So far I know I’m going to have a few more age play stories, specifically A Milkshake Kind of Morning, which will be out later in January, and another one in the same series for the cutie that bought coffee for the lawyers in Skyler’s book.

I’m also working on a disaster book that’s so much fun to write, and I can’t wait to show you how it’s coming along.

And I’m making good progress on a new incest book that’s going to be book one in a three-book series. But don’t worry, I’m not leaving Kevin and Jeremy behind…they want another book as well this year.

Also on the list is Bishop (he showed up as a side character at the end of the Leashes & Lace books and in the last Beautiful Shame book). I think he’s going to need several books, honestly. So I’ve penciled in a three-book series for him.

There are also going to be some fun surprises this year as well as another tentacle book, so when I add in working on Aubrey and Lincoln’s book, it’s already a fairly full writing schedule.

But I’m positive there will be a lot more popping up and demanding to be written.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to need more hours in the day this year or maybe more months in the year, but I can’t wait to see how they all turn out.

Comment below which book you’re most looking forward to this year.

Leon, Trip, and Dakota (plus something secret) Coming Soon!

Picking one work-in-progress to tell you about isn’t reasonable because I’m working on several things and they’re all at different stages…so I’m going to tell you about a few of the stories.

Leon (Destin’s roommate from The Only Way to Dream) is getting his own book and his life has taken an interesting turn.

Destin is now living with his guys—and we’re just going to say that the new guy who moved into the dorms with him when Destin left was not the easiest to live with. So Leon is now living in the apartment building where Bryan and Maddox used to live. He’s got another new roommate, but this time one who’s sweet…and curiously private about this life. Of course, Leon isn’t built to be subtle or to mind his own business, so you’ll have to see what happens.

I’ve also started working on a second book in my alien world. This book is about Trip (Cameron’s best friend in My Cameron) and the alien he met in the grocery store. The unedited chapters will go up in my Facebook group and in my newsletter. After the story is done, it will get cleaned up and will go up on Amazon. If you’re curious about my tentacle aliens, check out My Cameron. Those books seem to end just a little steamy, but the couples are so cute.

Another thing I’ve got going on is the final edits for Dakota’s book. It will probably be out in a few weeks, so now is the time to start reading the omega books if you haven’t already. Dakota is a writer who gets very wrapped up in what he’s working on, and Tristan comes in and is the perfect “keeper” for the distracted writer. They’re cute together and have explosive role-playing sex scenes. We’re just going to say that Dakota has a great imagination.

Oh, and my last project is something super-secret that I need to wait a few more weeks before telling you all about. But what I can say is that it’s age play with a couple who’s been living together for about a year and it’s the Daddy who starts introducing age play into their relationship. I can’t wait to tell you more about this one, and really, all the books that are coming up.

Keep an eye out for more about Leon’s love interest and to see when Dakota’s book will go up on pre-order.
