Surprises are so hard to keep but now I get to start teasing you all about a new project I’m so excited about.
Monsters.
The Legends series is a new shared world series coming out this summer with some great authors, and it’s about all the wonderful monsters that live in and near our national parks.
With beasts and Mothman and some fascinating characters like my interesting creature, it’s got a monster for everyone.
My book is Blade and it’s about The Beast of Bladenboro (NC) and he’s got an interesting backstory that you’re going to have to wait to hear more about.
But what can I tell you?
Our new human character, Henley, is interesting too and his family is…they’re crazy. He’s trying to make better decisions than they do, though.
Our beast is…well…a beast. Don’t worry, Henley’s there to use questionable logic and means to save the day.
This is chatter box sub meets stoic and supportive.
Henley would describe this as friends to lovers but his logic is usually interesting.
Our beast…once he’s fixed…would say this is fated mates to lovers.
As the author, I’m going to say Henley is odd, our beast loves the chaos his mate brings, and I love the location for this book. (It’s kind of right in my backyard.)
Blade goes live on Amazon on August 7th (no early access on my site since this is a shared world project) and the first book in the series, Maneater, goes live on July 31st.
