• Their Little Helper Chapter 1

“No. I’m sorry but that’s terrible logic. Useful is a much better indication of a successful long-term partnership.” How did people make such ridiculous decisions about dating? Especially two such attractive men. “What can you do? Home repairs? Balance his checkbook? Do you plan really good vacations?” There were so many more skills that would be useful long term and practical was incredibly sexy. “Um, no.” The athletic-looking blond blinked at me as the slightly bored businessman who’d been chatting him up cocked his head curiously. “I…I give good head?” “That’s not going to work. Eventually his dick isn’t going to work either.” And there was definitely an age gap between the two men, so we had to consider that. […]

  • Their Perfect Future Chapter 1

“You’re sure you want me to come? I know this isn’t exactly like a job interview but…” I didn’t know how to phrase it without sounding mean, but how many job interviews did you bring your boyfriend to, much less your Dom and Daddy?

Bryan threw himself down on the couch, looking frustrated. “You didn’t hear him. I want the internship, but he said applicants had to be able to explain why they wanted to work in a practice that handled more unique relationships. Well, ours is unique, but if I have to tell him, then you have to be there.”

“I’m not saying I won’t be there for you, B, but I just want to make sure you know what you’re doing. You want this, right?” I still wasn’t sure it was a good idea. When he’d come back from class last month talking about this crazy guest lecturer they had, I was glad he’d found the guy interesting. When it turned into a possible internship, I’d been excited—until I’d heard about the fine print.

He gave me a confused look. “I do, but it’s…I…I have to talk about it—with a stranger. This is the perfect opportunity though. As long as I don’t give myself a heart attack or something.”

  • Too Close to Break Chapter 1

“I’m dead. Just leave me here to rot.” I’d thrown myself on the couch as soon as I’d walked in the door, and going any farther seemed like too much effort. It was only early afternoon, but I was ready for the day to be over.

    Maybe the entire week.

I heard Jeremy come out of the bedroom, but looking at him would involve moving, so I wiggled a foot in his direction. I could hear the grin in his voice, and I felt his hands start removing my shoes. “I thought you said you wanted to go out and party tonight. Didn’t I hear something about celebrating your freshman year being over and wanting to do something crazy?”

“No. I have no idea what you’re talking about. Whoever was saying something insane like that clearly didn’t remember how exhausting finals are. Someone should stop him from saying stupid shit next time.” It wouldn’t have been that bad if they’d been spaced out, but somehow I’d managed to have five finals in two days. Plus the ones I’d already had the week before.

  • Too Close to Change Chapter 1

“I need your help.” Maddox’s voice coming from the shared bathroom wasn’t a surprise, but his nervousness and the fact that he’d come bearing gifts of expensive coffee and donuts was interesting.

Leaning back in my chair, I studied him. “If you were Kevin, I’d ask what you did.”

That cracked his nervousness, and he gave a rueful grin as he walked over to set the familiar white bag and cups on the desk. “I’d hold that thought if I were you.”

I couldn’t hold back a groan. “God, he’s corrupted you too.”

The troublemaker had to be contagious.

Maddox laughed as he sat down in his favorite chair and stretched his legs out. “It’s not Kevin-level trouble. It’s just potentially weird.”

  • Too Close to Deny Chapter 1

    Should I?

    Shouldn’t I?

It was a classic dilemma…let the subs tackle the Dom or save the Dom.

Whose side was I supposed to be rooting for?

Part of me said to save Maddox from being tickled and tortured because I was fairly certain I was supposed to side with the Dom, but when they were lying on top of him, wiggling and pinning him to the floor, I wasn’t so sure he wanted to be saved.

    Kevin grasped that point first.

  • Too Close to Doubt Chapter 1

“You heard that last night, right?” Bursting into Bryan’s side of the house as soon as he opened the door, I grinned when he groaned.

“And this morning.” He rolled his eyes. “You were deliberately loud this morning.”

“Because I’m the best alarm clock ever and you needed to start getting ready anyway.” We had shopping to do.

All our stuff had finally been moved into the house, but it was surprising how many random things we’d needed with so much extra space.

    Especially all the bathrooms.
