Loren Had More to Say – Something About Loren Extended Out January 15th
I know you’ve heard me say this before, but some characters are just louder than others. Each one of them is different, but some characters just keep chattering and want to tell me everything from what they had for breakfast to what they want to do next year. Loren was one of the chatty kinds.
For me, one of the hardest things about writing is keeping anything short.

A Take Charge Daddy and a Free-Spirited Boy – Dirty Daddies 2020 Anthology
We all want to belong. Sometimes it’s little things that make us feel like we’re part of the club. In writing, one of the things that really made me feel like I belong was getting asked to do the Dirty Daddies anthology for this year. It probably sounds silly, but it’s basically other authors looking at you and saying that they like your work and they trust you to do the best you can when you participate. But, man, writing shorter stories is soooo hard. Like insanely frustrating. Like it takes three times as long as it should to write because everyone in my head is long-winded. Like they want to tell you what they bought at the grocery store […]

Wondering If My Stories Were Unique Enough – A Flashback Post about “Curious Beginnings”
Curious Beginnings was my first step into the longer books that readers kept asking for. I think best when I move or eat, so I did a lot of planning for this book wandering around the neighborhood talking to myself. At first I was worried because I didn’t want it to feel too much like my first age play story, and I hadn’t come to understand how many ways there were to tell a story. I’ve since come to realize how many interesting and wonderful people live in my head and are just waiting for their turn to get a book. In Curious Beginnings, Mark has a physical condition that makes wearing protective undergarments a necessity, but he hates it […]

Two Switches = Happily Ever After?
What’s better than a Dom and a sub? Two switches in every sense of the word. Derek and Sean are finally here in The Only Way to Live. Derek is the feisty young guy who owns the adult toy store in Beautiful Shame Three: Christopher & Ethan. He likes to submit, but the right man also makes his inner Dom come out to play—and Sean is definitely the right man. And if you’ve read Beautiful Shame Three, you know he likes to tease too. Sean is the father from the third Beautiful Shame book that owns the mechanic shop. He thinks he’s vanilla and straight, but he’s really lonely and has given up on dating. A little bit of a […]

Snow Regrets is LIVE!
Snow Regrets is live! When I first thought about how the book would look with it primarily being just about the two main characters, since they’re trapped because of a snowstorm, I wasn’t sure how it would go. But it turns out when you trap two sweet characters together… one needing to fix things and the other needing love… they talk to each other and the sweet moments just seem to jump off the page. Blanket forts, bath times and cuddles… so much tenderness even though they’re both assuming it can’t last once the snow is gone. Check out the first chapter here if you’re curious. 2020 Update: Snow Regrets is now Trapped With His Temporary Daddy

Snow Regrets…Pre-order now!
Joseph and Forest…The basic idea for the new Snowed In series of Valentine’s Inc books is about being snowed in with the last person you want to see. I knew right off the bat my characters hadn’t seen each other in years and there were some unresolved issues between them, but I wasn’t sure how their relationship would work. Well, it turns out that Joseph is hiding a lot of hurt and frustration, and Forest is emotionally exhausted from spending the last few years with Doctors Without Borders. Forest is a Daddy that doesn’t have anyone who needs him, which is starting to eat away at him, and Joseph really doesn’t want to admit how badly he needs someone. He’s […]
