One of the funniest things that came out of Our Love, Bishop’s story, was Emerson. The sparkly, impulsive Emerson is one of Ian’s best friends and an utter handful. When I was asked to be part of the Secret Santa Daddy series of standalones, my first reaction was to wince because gift exchanges always go terribly.
