Curious Beginnings was my first step into the longer books that readers kept asking for. I think best when I move or eat, so I did a lot of planning for this book wandering around the neighborhood talking to myself. At first I was worried because I didn’t want it to feel too much like my first age play story, and I hadn’t come to understand how many ways there were to tell a story.
I’ve since come to realize how many interesting and wonderful people live in my head and are just waiting for their turn to get a book.
In Curious Beginnings, Mark has a physical condition that makes wearing protective undergarments a necessity, but he hates it and feels like they’re keeping him from having a full life. When Sebastian comes along and introduces him to the world of age play where diapers aren’t something to be afraid of, Mark finally learns what it’s like to share that side of himself with someone else.
It was so much fun getting to watch Mark finally seeing things in a new light, and exploring how Sebastian learns to love again after he was left a widower pulled at my heart.
Thank you to all the readers who gave me a push and made me see that the characters in my head deserved longer books and all the romance and love I could give them.

I am a fast reader, so my favorites are the ones that span several books. I love your characters and want to live with them as long as possible. And I really love seeing characters from one book in another. (The whole college town with Beckett, and Ford and Miles. Love reading all of those and getting to see everyone again.)

I loved the way Sebastian managed to get Mark to see that diapers could actually be a fun thing and not something to be ashamed of! I much prefer longer full length books as they give you more time with the characters.
