Jeremy and Kevin… they were characters I never thought anyone would want to read about. When I wrote the first book in the Loving series, Too Close to Love, I was pretty sure about five people would read it and no one would be able to relate to them, but I had to tell their story anyway.
I wrote Too Close to Love over a long weekend, and I’d never had characters who were so clear from the very beginning. I remember thinking how sweet they were together, but I was afraid of what you guys would think. I just want to thank you for all the wonderful messages and comments about how much you love them.
If you haven’t had a chance to read their story yet, Too Close to Love is free on my site all the time as well as being free on Smashwords through the end of the year.
The fifth book in the series, Too Close to Lose, continues their journey and is now available too. It can be found on my website and on Smashwords. Being able to see them grow in their relationship and to start their journey into adulthood has been so much fun.
All Kevin wants to know is how to be the best almost big brother ever…and if he happens to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up, that would be good too. The only thing he’s confident about is that he loves being a middle and having a playroom would be perfect.
All Jeremy wants to know is where the last two years went and where their lives will go now that he’s graduated. From helping Kevin figure out how to be a middle to determining how much longer they should stay in their apartment, it seems like everything is starting to change.
When decisions have to be made, the only thing they really know is that their love for each other has never been stronger…and just maybe, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to keep their unconventional extended family together.
