Embracing Faith Chapter 1
The last place anyone expected to find a gay asexual accountant was at a BDSM club, but the odd mix of politicians, businessmen, Doms, and subs was always fun to watch. When I took into account that BDSM didn’t always involve sex, it wasn’t a bad way to spend a Friday night.
And since I’d been coming for several years, the awkward what do you mean you don’t want to fuck me conversation was less frequent.
“I can’t tell if you’re bored or just relaxed.” Ben’s expression was too analytical for a BDSM club.
“You’re the one who looks too wound up. Things not going well at the other club?” Normally the only times I’d seen him stressed were when there was an issue with one of the businesses. My other guess would have been Conner overworking himself again, but I’d seen him earlier and he’d looked fine.

Embracing Love Chapter 1
“You’re going to have to put a shirt on if you want him to focus.” Trying not to laugh at their antics was becoming more difficult as the morning progressed.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” James tried to brush it off, pretending to scoff, but I could see the pleasure in his eyes.
I might not have any desire to participate in their teasing, but I still found the whole thing vastly entertaining. Cody had never been the most subtle creature, especially when it came to things he wanted to learn.
And right now, the only thing he wanted to study was James’s body…especially his chest.
The tattoos fascinated Cody.
I chuckled, then nudged Cody’s plate closer. “Eat before it gets cold.”

Ender’s Curiosity Chapter 1
“He’s coming.”
What the fuck had we done?
As I panicked, face still pressed against the window as I watched our life unravel before my eyes, Leif called out from the bathroom, obviously not grasping the severity of the problem, “What do you mean? You said you’d wait for me.”
“I lied.” He’d been taking too long. My patience hadn’t held out. “But the crazy one saw me and he’s coming.”
That finally got Leif out of the bathroom as he dried his hands, but he was barely frowning and still didn’t get it. “Maybe he’s going for coffee or something. It’s still early for a photo shoot.”
Leif never knew when to panic. He was entirely too laid-back sometimes.
“No, he’s crossing the street.”
Oh, what had I done?
We.
What had we done.
This was definitely a we situation even if I was the one who’d gotten caught.

Experiments in Love Chapter 1
“I really don’t get it.” Something about the confused voice coming from behind me had me tuning into the slightly too loud conversation. “Why does any top need more than about four inches? My prostate isn’t all the way up in my intestines.”
Huh?
“I’m pretty sure this is just a you thing.” The slightly timid sound to the second voice made me smile. He had no idea what to say to his confused friend but that didn’t stop the other one.

Family By Fate Chapter 1
Five fucking thrift stores.
“Five.” I got a dirty look from the old lady across from me on the bus, but I wasn’t going to feel bad about losing my mind. If she’d gone to five thrift stores all over the city for a stupid Christmas present for her boyfriend, she’d be insane too.
Leaning back against the seat, I tried to relax, but the hard plastic and constant bumps from the winter-ravaged roads made that impossible. The potholes were probably the only thing keeping me awake, so I should have been grateful for them. I wasn’t. I also wasn’t grateful for the early shifts and the cold weather.
But I shouldn’t even be complaining about the hours I’d been working.
When winter had hit and the landscaping jobs had stopped for the season, I’d thought I’d be out of work for months except for the occasional odd job. Thankfully, I’d been one of the handful of guys they’d kept on payroll for the snow removal side of the company.

Finding His Happiness Chapter 1
“Tag. You’re it.” Conner looked more insane than usual as he glared a guy into the chair beside me. He literally pointed and frowned like the guy was a misbehaving dog who needed to go in time-out. Was he a pup? “I’m done going in circles and I think you’re the best one to get straight answers out of him.” Conner pointed to my guest when I just raised one eyebrow. “Ben’s out tonight, and if I can’t spank him, I’m not dealing with him.” When the dramatic club owner twirled around and walked away, I gave up expecting good answers from him and turned to the man who’d just out-bratted the biggest troublemaker I knew. “Good evening.” “I don’t […]
