Some of my favorite things to write are dirty talk and naughty subs who like pretending they aren’t naughty…which is why I looove writing my Beautiful Shame books so much. One of the funniest things that came out of Our Love, Bishop’s story, was Emerson. The sparkly, impulsive Emerson is one of Ian’s best friends and an utter handful. Middles are so much fun to write. There’s just something sweet about that awkward not a little and not an adult age.
