Some books are harder to describe in the blurb than others…especially when I’m not sure how to describe certain activities in the Amazon version of the blurb. (They’re a bit weird about stuff lol)
Hiding From Laughter is one of those books. (Picture a confused author shaking her head.)
Where to start?
Well, the extended version of Hiding From Laughter is now up on preorder and I’m very grateful for all the help you guys gave me when I asked for ideas about what else needed to go in the longer version of this book. I’ve added about 50k words to this new version.
For those of you who didn’t read the short version in the Naughty November anthology, it had a sub who wanted to explore being tickled until he lost control. His Dom also thought he was a little but they didn’t explore that in the book. The closest they came to that part was using diapers to help with the loss of control part.
Here are the highlights of things I think you might want to know:
-In the longer book we’re exploring Ashton’s little side.
-He’s a young, nonverbal little for the most part.
-We also have more tickling and wetting.
-There’s also a fun trip to the B&C club.
-They use the wet room (bathroom) at the club and there is a bit of a “marking” fantasy as Micha plays the alpha claiming his omega with mild watersports. (This is easily skipped over if you’re not curious.)
-We’ve got some fun cameos. (Keep reading to the bottom of this to see the cameos.)
You can see why some of this is hard to explain in the burb without Amazon shoving the book into erotica or worse.
It’s really a sweet romance with some spicy bits and lots of cute little time. But I think my favorite part of this book is how Micha and Ashton are already a couple but they’re still learning things about each other. (The spicy bits are fun too, though.)
There’s a really funny scene where they’re discussing what constitutes cheating and Micha realizes they have very different definitions even though they’d done limits list and talked about it before. (No cheating happens just a conversation.)
Watching them figure that out just made me laugh and Ashton’s not-so-subtle thinking that Micha is bananas (and probably needs to be fed) was a lot of fun to write. These two just make me smile and I love the way they explore all the new parts of their relationship.
Hiding From Laughter is now up on preorder here on my site and on Amazon and will go live on April 25th.
Check out the first chapter of Hiding From Laughter.
I’ve also got a fun short bonus chapter for this about the club visit. It’s from Conner’s point of view and just gives a peek at what he’s thinking. I don’t think there’s any spoilers in this bonus.

I should’ve never crafted drunk.
Ashton knew being too honest when putting ideas into their jar of fantasies would come back to bite him at some point, and unfortunately he’s finally reached that point. So…now what? How is he supposed to explain his slightly curious fantasies when he isn’t sure where to start?
Maybe he just needs better ways to avoid the conversation completely?
Micha knows his not-so-subtle partner is hiding something…probably something ridiculous, knowing Ashton…but he’s got to decide how long he’s willing to let the insanity continue. Eventually, Ashton has to say what’s on his mind, right?
When crafting leads to nervous confessions and laughter, tickling won’t be the only thing that brings them closer together than ever before.
Author’s Note: This was originally in the Naughty November 2024 anthology under the Shaw side of things, but it’s been expanded and has been moved over to the MA Innes side. Ashton is curious about a lot of things, but Hiding From Laughter explores tickling that leads to a loss of bladder control and the little side he’s doing his best to ignore. Please see the author’s site for a longer content list.
