Ben and Conner…they popped up fully formed and passionate about one another in the first Bound & Controlled book. However, they’ve always been quiet about their relationship and had a tendency to flirt and change the subject whenever I poked at them. Since they first popped up in the Bound & Controlled series, I’ve been asked about Ben and Conner. As the owners of the club, they’ve shown up in a variety of books, but they didn’t talk much about themselves. Last fall, I was talking with a friend about what I wanted to write this year, and I kept coming back to Ben and Conner. The Bound and Controlled club is one of my favorite parts of my world, but I haven’t managed to take too many characters back there lately. So when I was trying to decide what I wanted to write this year, I knew it was time to change that.
