I like looking at things from different points of view. Sometimes it’s watching people as I travel and imagining what their life is like and other times it’s looking at books and thinking that there has to be another way to look at a trope or genre. The dynamics in omegaverse books was one of those things.
I love the books in that subgenre, but one of the things that sometimes drives me crazy about them is the way omegas are treated. If over time women stood up and said they weren’t going to be treated badly anymore, why would omegas be any different? So I started to imagine what my omegas would look like.
Many things in life and society seem to be on a pendulum, so I knew that if in the past omegas had been treated badly, eventually it would be corrected or even over-corrected. In my world omegas aren’t second-class citizens, but everyone is so careful about how they treat them that what the omegas want really doesn’t matter anymore.
My omegas are feisty and funny. They are wonderfully outrageous when they get drunk together, but what they want most of all is to find an alpha who they can submit to…it shouldn’t be scandalous, but it is. But since they’re intelligent, strong-willed guys they go after what they want and end up deciding to build a BDSM club. If they can’t find the alphas, they’ll get the alphas to come to them. Hopefully.

This series isn’t your typical omegaverse books, and if you’ve never tried any before, these are a great way to get your feet wet. They’re super funny and the guys are a cute family who love each other. Book four, Bradley, will be out on July 17th.
