Cutie the Cop is finally here…Austin’s nickname for him of course.
I love getting to write characters who are just a little unique. Sometimes it’s the way they see the world and other times it’s something about who they are that’s just a bit special, but they’re some of my favorite types of characters to write.
Gideon is special in a lot of ways. He’s a cop that’s sweeter than most and he’s a physically small alpha…and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. But he keeps everything else hidden away, especially his longing to submit.
Bashful (MA Innes) is the start of a spinoff series that is a kinkier side to the Romance & Revolutions series (Shaw Montgomery). It’s a slow burn romance with lots of age play age play and BDSM, and the rest of the series will have everything from puppy play to naughty twins. So keep an eye out for more in the Love and Secrets series.

I’m not sure there’s anything sexier than a sweet alpha Daddy Dom who just wants to cuddle his boy…well, maybe one who likes to carry his boy too.
Bashful is the next age play book, and it’s set in the omegaverse world from the Romance & Revolutions series. The new series, Love & Secrets, will be under the M.A. Innes side of things because it’s going to touch on lots of fun topics and kinks like age play and incest.
These are going to be standalone books, but to follow everything you need to have read at least the first two Romance & Revolutions book(Tanner and Austin). The whole series is fun and sexy, but the first two books really explain most of the world.
Bashful is about a cute cop that showed up in book two of the Romance & Revolutions series. He’s all wide-eyed innocence and dirty curiosity, and he’s so darned cute…and when he meets Jarrett, a Daddy Dom, at a BDSM club he knows there’s something special about the giant of an alpha.
The age play starts quickly, but the physical side of their relationship is a slow burn because Gideon, our cute little cop, has some secrets. This is an age play alpha/alpha romance in an omegaverse world. I can’t wait to show you their story, but if you’re as impatient as I am for it to get here on the 19th, click here to check out the first chapter.

Alphas, age play, and a cute little cop
The omegas from my Romance & Revolutions series are back…and this time they’ve brought the cute little cop with them.
Bashful is the first book in a spin-off series for the omegaverse world in my Romance & Revolutions series. This series is under the M.A. Innes side of things because it’s going to have fun things like age play and pups, and even the twins will get a story.
Bashful is about a shy alpha cop, Gideon, who doesn’t really look that alpha (wonder why?) and the big bear of a Daddy who takes him under his wing. My cute cop has some things to work out, and a Daddy is just what he needs…he just doesn’t realize it yet.
This is best read after you’ve gone through the primary series that starts with Tanner, and with Bashful coming out on February 19th, this is the perfect time to start on that series or to jump in and reread them all. They have the funniest drunk scenes ever.
I can’t wait for you to meet my cute cop and his sweet Daddy.

If you’ve read many of my books, you’ve probably figured out that I like side characters. Sometimes they show up as main characters later in the current series and sometimes it takes me a while to figure out where they belong, but they’re so much fun to write about.
In the Romance & Revolutions series there are a few fun side characters that need a story. Simon is one of them. He was cagey at first and didn’t like sharing personal things about himself, but as I started writing Bradley’s book, he opened up.
So…what do we know about Simon?
From the short scenes where he’s shown up in so far in the Romance & Revolutions series, we know a few things about Simon:
-He loves driving his brother absolutely nuts.
-He knows where the good porn is online.
-He seems to be vanilla.
-Nothing the guys do seems to shock him.
So that has to add up to an alpha who’s more than just meets the eye—because Austin should shock anyone who’s as boring as Simon appears to be.
But there are some things we don’t know yet:
-How does he know where the good porn is hidden?
-Why isn’t he shocked by the pool party?
-Is he single?
-Why isn’t he shocked by the group of submissive omegas?
-Does he really have a tattoo on his…?
-What’s his position on snarky omega subs that clearly need a spanking and some ground rules?
I can’t wait for you guys to get to know more about Simon. At first he’s really not sure how he feels about Bradley, but by the middle of the book, he starts to wonder if “asshole” can actually be a term of endearment. He’s the perfect match to Bradley in some unexpected ways and his reaction to their drunk scene in this book is hysterical (FYI they’ve gotten into some strong moonshine).

I like looking at things from different points of view. Sometimes it’s watching people as I travel and imagining what their life is like and other times it’s looking at books and thinking that there has to be another way to look at a trope or genre. The dynamics in omegaverse books was one of those things.
I love the books in that subgenre, but one of the things that sometimes drives me crazy about them is the way omegas are treated. If over time women stood up and said they weren’t going to be treated badly anymore, why would omegas be any different? So I started to imagine what my omegas would look like.
Many things in life and society seem to be on a pendulum, so I knew that if in the past omegas had been treated badly, eventually it would be corrected or even over-corrected. In my world omegas aren’t second-class citizens, but everyone is so careful about how they treat them that what the omegas want really doesn’t matter anymore.
My omegas are feisty and funny. They are wonderfully outrageous when they get drunk together, but what they want most of all is to find an alpha who they can submit to…it shouldn’t be scandalous, but it is. But since they’re intelligent, strong-willed guys they go after what they want and end up deciding to build a BDSM club. If they can’t find the alphas, they’ll get the alphas to come to them. Hopefully.
Guess what? The first book in the series Tanner is free on Amazon through the 6th.

This series isn’t your typical omegaverse books, and if you’ve never tried any before, these are a great way to get your feet wet. They’re super funny and the guys are a cute family who love each other. Book four, Bradley, will be out on July 17th.
