I’ve always loved sci-fi books. Aliens who crash on earth and fall in love…Stargate…Star Trek…Captain Picard was my first love. I’ve always imagined writing science fiction of some sort, but I never pictured my first alien book being about tentacles.
Of course, it turned out to be so much fun to write, I had to do another.
His Human is the second in the New Neighbors series. In My Cameron, you met Cameron’s best friend and boss Trip. Well, His Human is Trip and Maverick’s story. If you haven’t read any of the chapters of this in my Facebook group or in the newsletter, I can’t wait for you to see how sexy and funny they are.
I love getting to write about my aliens and exploring how they see relationships and humans in general. The curious way they explore love and sex and human needs are some of my favorite things to explore. Especially when it leads to me getting to write fabulously sexy things like breath play.
His Human released today, and if you haven’t had a chance to meet Trip and Maverick yet, check out the first chapter of their book.
If you haven’t started this series, then read My Cameron first because this series needs to be read in order.

I know some of you have browsed through my MA Innes books on Amazon and scrolled through all the stories I’ve written before stopping at My Cameron and giving it a curious look. The cover alone definitely makes it stand out, but aside from the aliens aspect, it’s really the same sweet, sexy type of characters that are in my other books.
Some of you have heard this story before, but I originally started thinking about tentacles from a post in a Facebook book group. A few people were talking about tentacle porn and just having a good time and it got me thinking about what my version of tentacle porn would look like.
Sweet and dirty and much more romantic than I’d expected, but not a big surprise in the end, really. However, I had so much fun writing the first chapter that eventually they got a full book.
Bit by bit.
The mostly unedited chapters of their story were posted in my Facebook group, just like the new chapters of Trip and Maverick’s book are going up now (and in the newsletter). I love being able to see readers’ reactions as the story unfolds. It makes it all more special somehow.
If you haven’t met my aliens yet, check out My Cameron because Trip and Maverick’s book, His Human, is now up on preorder. They’re funny and have the hottest sex scenes because Trip is up for almost anything. They have an instant connection that I love to write about, and I can’t wait to show you their finished story.

One of the most asked about omegas is always Wade. From the very beginning when he showed up in the prequel, readers were asking about his life and if he would get his happily ever after. Well, it took a while, but he’s finally ready to fall in love again.
Hint hint… If you haven’t read Dakota’s story, hurry and read that before Wade comes out because you get to see a lot of Wade’s personal growth through Dakota’s eyes and how much he loves his friend.
At the beginning of the story, Wade keeps trying to imagine what kind of alpha he might meet at the club, but the one thing he doesn’t expect is a blast from the past…Griffin.
He was friends with Matthew and Wade before Matthew died. But after Matthew’s death, he pulled away because that’s what he thought Wade needed…and he’d do anything for Wade. He’s been head over heels for the sweet omega since the first time he saw him, but he’s always pushed those feelings away.
Wade’s needs were always more important than his own, so he did what he thought was best for the grieving omega. He walked away.
But now he’s back.
The one place he never expected to see Wade was in a BDSM club, but after a bit of shock, all those feelings come rushing back. He just has to decide what to do with them.
This is a tender, friends-to-lovers story with a lot of touching emotions as Wade finally learns to love again. It made me cry so many times and they have some of the sweetest scenes ever…but there’s also a few fun moments with the twins that work for Griffin and a great drunk scene with all the guys, so I can’t wait to see what you think.
Check out the first chapter of Wade before the book comes out this Friday!

Curious Beginnings was my first step into the longer books that readers kept asking for. I think best when I move or eat, so I did a lot of planning for this book wandering around the neighborhood talking to myself. At first I was worried because I didn’t want it to feel too much like my first age play story, and I hadn’t come to understand how many ways there were to tell a story.
I’ve since come to realize how many interesting and wonderful people live in my head and are just waiting for their turn to get a book.
In Curious Beginnings, Mark has a physical condition that makes wearing protective undergarments a necessity, but he hates it and feels like they’re keeping him from having a full life. When Sebastian comes along and introduces him to the world of age play where diapers aren’t something to be afraid of, Mark finally learns what it’s like to share that side of himself with someone else.
It was so much fun getting to watch Mark finally seeing things in a new light, and exploring how Sebastian learns to love again after he was left a widower pulled at my heart.
Thank you to all the readers who gave me a push and made me see that the characters in my head deserved longer books and all the romance and love I could give them.

If you’ve read many of my books, you’ve probably figured out that I like side characters. Sometimes they show up as main characters later in the current series and sometimes it takes me a while to figure out where they belong, but they’re so much fun to write about.
In the Romance & Revolutions series there are a few fun side characters that need a story. Simon is one of them. He was cagey at first and didn’t like sharing personal things about himself, but as I started writing Bradley’s book, he opened up.
So…what do we know about Simon?
From the short scenes where he’s shown up in so far in the Romance & Revolutions series, we know a few things about Simon:
-He loves driving his brother absolutely nuts.
-He knows where the good porn is online.
-He seems to be vanilla.
-Nothing the guys do seems to shock him.
So that has to add up to an alpha who’s more than just meets the eye—because Austin should shock anyone who’s as boring as Simon appears to be.
But there are some things we don’t know yet:
-How does he know where the good porn is hidden?
-Why isn’t he shocked by the pool party?
-Is he single?
-Why isn’t he shocked by the group of submissive omegas?
-Does he really have a tattoo on his…?
-What’s his position on snarky omega subs that clearly need a spanking and some ground rules?
I can’t wait for you guys to get to know more about Simon. At first he’s really not sure how he feels about Bradley, but by the middle of the book, he starts to wonder if “asshole” can actually be a term of endearment. He’s the perfect match to Bradley in some unexpected ways and his reaction to their drunk scene in this book is hysterical (FYI they’ve gotten into some strong moonshine).

I like looking at things from different points of view. Sometimes it’s watching people as I travel and imagining what their life is like and other times it’s looking at books and thinking that there has to be another way to look at a trope or genre. The dynamics in omegaverse books was one of those things.
I love the books in that subgenre, but one of the things that sometimes drives me crazy about them is the way omegas are treated. If over time women stood up and said they weren’t going to be treated badly anymore, why would omegas be any different? So I started to imagine what my omegas would look like.
Many things in life and society seem to be on a pendulum, so I knew that if in the past omegas had been treated badly, eventually it would be corrected or even over-corrected. In my world omegas aren’t second-class citizens, but everyone is so careful about how they treat them that what the omegas want really doesn’t matter anymore.
My omegas are feisty and funny. They are wonderfully outrageous when they get drunk together, but what they want most of all is to find an alpha who they can submit to…it shouldn’t be scandalous, but it is. But since they’re intelligent, strong-willed guys they go after what they want and end up deciding to build a BDSM club. If they can’t find the alphas, they’ll get the alphas to come to them. Hopefully.
Guess what? The first book in the series Tanner is free on Amazon through the 6th.

This series isn’t your typical omegaverse books, and if you’ve never tried any before, these are a great way to get your feet wet. They’re super funny and the guys are a cute family who love each other. Book four, Bradley, will be out on July 17th.
