Donovan and Trey are back. If you haven’t read the beginning of their story, get caught up with When the Storm Comes.
Some of my favorite parts in When the Clouds Part are Donovan interactions with his parents. He’s so frustrated and they’re so insane. At one point they’re trying to be so sweet and he’s getting so embarrassed he decides that from that point on Trey is going to be in charge of every weird conversation with his parents because that’s clearly a Dom’s job.
I think we all need someone like that in our life…too embarrassing…too stressful? Please see my conversation Dom and he’ll handle it from here.
It’s funny in the book, but I also think it’s sweet and it shows the trust they’re building even though it takes them a while to define their relationship. Trust and confidence in a relationship are more important than a label…but labels can be comforting and they’ll get there eventually.
This is their last book and a few big questions will get answered…most importantly…will they get chickens?
I can’t wait for you to see how that turns out.
When the Clouds Part released today, and I hope you enjoy the ending of Donovan and Trey’s story.
