We all want to belong. Sometimes it’s little things that make us feel like we’re part of the club. In writing, one of the things that really made me feel like I belong was getting asked to do the Dirty Daddies anthology for this year. It probably sounds silly, but it’s basically other authors looking at you and saying that they like your work and they trust you to do the best you can when you participate.
But, man, writing shorter stories is soooo hard.
Like insanely frustrating.
Like it takes three times as long as it should to write because everyone in my head is long-winded.
Like they want to tell you what they bought at the grocery store kind of long-winded just because they want to chat.
So wrangling Loren and Gordon into a complete but not two-hundred-page story wasn’t easy, but the three of us managed it. Mostly Gordon, honestly. He’s the take-charge Daddy type who likes watching over Loren.
Loren is the smart, free-spirited type who doesn’t really want to grow up and Gordon loves that about him. Gordon just doesn’t understand what that might mean until a friend at work (someone by the name of Sawyer) starts talking to him about types of submission he’s never thought much about.
Something about Loren has sweet age play, a bit of BDSM, and some fun cameos. The anthology will go live on September 29th and is now on preorder at Amazon, Apple, and Barnes & Noble. The anthology is a mix of MF and MM stories and is available for $0.99, so it’s a fabulous deal.
The Only Way to Live is now out on audiobook. Derek and Sean are so sweet together. Hearing Sean work through everything he’s figuring out about himself is even cuter in audiobook…and the scenes between Derek and Jules are so funny.

Book two will be out in just a few weeks, so grab Derek and Sean now.
I knew right away when I started writing Derek’s book that Jules would be an interesting little. He’s somewhat shy, but he knows what he wants…Lego’s, junk food, and a sexy Daddy who looks like every badass biker he’s ever dreamed about.
I loved that he wasn’t willing to settle and he knew his Daddy was out there for him. He just needed a bit of patience and Derek’s help to find him. Sometimes we all need a tiny push to get things going in the right direction.
One of my favorite parts was getting to see everything through Frank’s eyes. He’s new to age play, but he takes everything in stride from the age play itself to Jules’s relationship with Derek. Getting to dive into writing a little who loves being taken care of and wasn’t worried about that part of his life was fun. And getting to write a mushy Daddy who loves getting to spoil his boy is even more fun.
And if you’ve read Beautiful Shame Three, you know he likes to tease too.
Sean is the father from the third Beautiful Shame book that owns the mechanic shop. He thinks he’s vanilla and straight, but he’s really lonely and has given up on dating. A little bit of a push from Derek has him looking at his life and his sexuality in new ways.
This one has a bit of Daddy kink with the age gap, but it’s mostly just Derek driving Sean nuts and no age play is involved. The age play fun comes in book two when you get to know Derek’s best friend Jules…and the third book is going to have our favorite, understanding cop…Detective Avery.
March is going to be jam-packed with cute subs and tender Doms. To start with, the next book in the Leashes & Lace series, Wesley, will be out this Friday. Wesley spent his teenage years suffering from agoraphobia and depression, but he hasn’t let that stop him.
Now that he’s conquered everything that’s held him back, what he wants most of all is to be a full model at Leashes & Lace, but that’s not as easy as he hoped it would be. His first photo shoot ends up being right in the middle of Eli and Roman’s insanity, and his nerves just can’t take the crazy.
But then comes the calm and sexy photographer Tyler…
Tyler is the photographer that usually works with the pups, primarily because he’s really relaxed, low key, and doesn’t like drama. He’s perfect for Wesley, but unfortunately, their first photo shoot doesn’t go as planned.
These two made me cry in the middle of Starbucks. I looked insane, but they have a really sweet and sexy relationship once they clear up a few things. There’s no “big misunderstanding” in the conventional sense, but they both learn how important communication is in any relationship.
