How a Real Life Town and College Inspired The Setting For Three Series

There have always been certain places in my life that I just felt like I belonged…that it was where I was supposed to be. I always knew I would move back to North Carolina, no matter how many places I moved to in the meantime. But the first place I knew was a space I’d return to was Williamsburg, Virginia.

Even as a young teenager, the first time I saw the campus of William & Mary I knew that was where I wanted to be. So it probably won’t surprise you that when I started imagining a college for my guys where they could learn to be themselves and be happy, I always pictured that campus in my head.

I’ve taken a lot of liberties with the town and the surrounding area, but it’s the feel of the college and the way the town spreads out around it that I love and wanted to give to my guys.

I got a chance this week to walk through Williamsburg and the college again, this time showing it to my teenage kids, and that feeling came rushing back. It was wonderful getting to soak up that feeling again, even if my kids don’t really understand. However, they humored me and we had a great time so I have no complaints.

But as we walked around the mostly deserted campus, I couldn’t help but picture how my guys would look there…Kevin running across campus because he was late or Bryan hiding out between some of the buildings just because he needed a break…and Cody wandering between the buildings with his head in the clouds.

They’re all so very real to me, and I can’t help but think that some of that realness is because I’ve always imagined them in one of my favorite places.

Pictures in this post are from my recent trip to campus, and although I’ve taken a lot of liberties with the town, I hope you enjoy seeing where I imagine them wandering around.

William and Mary College is featured in three of my series:

Jeremy and Kevin are back!

Jeremy and Kevin… they were characters I never thought anyone would want to read about. When I wrote the first book in the Loving series, Too Close to Love, I was pretty sure about five people would read it and no one would be able to relate to them, but I had to tell their story anyway.

I wrote Too Close to Love over a long weekend, and I’d never had characters who were so clear from the very beginning. I remember thinking how sweet they were together, but I was afraid of what you guys would think. I just want to thank you for all the wonderful messages and comments about how much you love them.

If you haven’t had a chance to read their story yet, Too Close to Love is free on my site all the time as well as being free on Smashwords through the end of the year.

The fifth book in the series, Too Close to Lose, continues their journey and is now available too. It can be found on my website and on Smashwords. Being able to see them grow in their relationship and to start their journey into adulthood has been so much fun.

Too Close to Break Chapter 1

Chapter 1

Kevin

“I’m dead. Just leave me here to rot.” I’d thrown myself on the couch as soon as I’d walked in the door, and going any farther seemed like too much effort. It was only early afternoon, but I was ready for the day to be over.

Maybe the entire week.

I heard Jeremy come out of the bedroom, but looking at him would involve moving, so I wiggled a foot in his direction. I could hear the grin in his voice, and I felt his hands start removing my shoes. “I thought you said you wanted to go out and party tonight. Didn’t I hear something about celebrating your freshman year being over and wanting to do something crazy?”

“No. I have no idea what you’re talking about. Whoever was saying something insane like that clearly didn’t remember how exhausting finals are. Someone should stop him from saying stupid shit next time.” It wouldn’t have been that bad if they’d been spaced out, but somehow I’d managed to have five finals in two days. Plus the ones I’d already had the week before.

I didn’t remember fall exams being this bad.

I was starting to rethink summer classes. Maybe signing up for them hadn’t been such a good idea. It’d just made the most sense when I’d started planning out required courses and figuring out the best way to use my scholarship.

“Save him from himself or give him something else to occupy his mouth?” The tone of Jeremy’s voice sent a shiver down my spine.

“Both.” Definitely both.

His strong hands started massaging up my legs, ripping a moan from my chest. “Damn, that feels so…yes…right there.”

Jeremy’s hands slid up under my shorts, and his thumbs started massaging the bottom of my ass right where it met my thigh. Shit…that was…

“So if I said Bryan and Maddox were coming over later and buying pizza that would be better than going out?”

“I wouldn’t have to move? That sounds perfect.”

His low laugh made me want to curl into him. “We’re not sitting on you, so eventually you do have to move. You can take a nap now if you want to.”

“Why aren’t you as exhausted as I am?” He was annoyingly cheerful—and awake.

“Because I got more sleep than you did, and my exams were more spread out.”

“Stupid upperclassman privilege or something.” My face was mashed into the cushions, so the words came out garbled, but he got the gist of it.

“You took too many classes this semester.” There was an “I told you so” tone to his voice. “Are you going to listen next time?”

Yup, there it was.

Probably not.” No point in making a promise we both knew I wouldn’t keep.

“It didn’t seem like that many when I was going to class.” It wasn’t like I had a job or anything. Getting through the waste-of-time classes sounded like a good plan. Especially when we didn’t need me to work.

“Then you can’t complain when you have more finals than I do.” His voice was teasing but his hands kept kneading at the stiff muscles in my legs, so I ignored the last part.

Too Close To Break

I like trying to understand people. I like trying to put myself in their shoes and really grasp what makes them different, and hopefully, what makes them the same as everyone else. Some of the kinks and subjects that I write about are more controversial than others, but Jeremy and Kevin are close to my heart, no matter the basic taboo of their story.

Most of the time, I get inspiration from random things, occasionally from people in my own life, and sometimes from songs. I remember watching a music video, and one guy in it seemed so sad. It was just something that struck me, and probably not even part of the song, but I started imagining why he was so sad…Too Close To Love came out of that brainstorming.

When I let people read the first book, I was prepared for shock, or worse. But when they started to ask for more, I was honestly surprised. In Too Close To Break, you get to see the next step in their story. I can’t wait to show it to you. Too Close To Break comes out on Friday, March 2, 2018, and I’m so excited for you to see how they’re growing and how their first year away from home has changed them. I hope you love my sweet, unconventional guys as much as I do. Here’s a peek at the first chapter of the new book.

Christmas is finally here…Well the book at least

The Christmas book is here. I had such a good time writing it, but it was so difficult to choose which couples to include. I wanted to go back and play with all of them. In the end, some couples spoke louder than others, so they got a spot this year.

Nathan and Gabriel were very loud, Gabriel had several things he wanted to do and wasn’t going to let me put him off. Nathan got a fun new toy for Christmas that they get to play with and then he gets a surprise gift that’s sweet and was so much fun to write.

Tim and Cade were also loud. They were my first age play couple. When I first started writing age play, I had no idea anyone else would want to read it, but the idea was so clear in my head and the characters so chatty that it had to get written. So I thought it was finally time to go back and revisit my first couple. I hope you’re as excited to see them again as I was to write them.

I’m not going to post a full chapter on the site this time, but here’s a little taste of Nathan because he’s just so much fun.

A hand gave my cock a little smack that sent shock waves of the most incredible sensation flooding through me. “Master!” If that was supposed to have been a punishment, it backfired. It was even better than when he spanked me. And I’d thought that was one of the best feelings ever.

Gabriel chuckled wickedly then did it again. Not hard but it rolled around inside me doing crazy things to almost every nerve in my body. “My pup likes that.”

Was it a question?

He kept going, so I probably didn’t have to answer. “If you like that, then there are all kinds of fun things I can show you.”

Fun seemed to translate to naughty and sexy, which had my mind racing. I had more things to research later. Much later. When Master stopped making me insane. His grip tightened and his thumb went back to the head of my dick, pressing even harder than he had previously. “Oh God, Master!”

“My little pup likes pain more than I thought.” Then he did it again and took the breath out of my lungs.

I arched up, shaking, and everything seemed to get hazy. It was—

“Breathe, Pup.” Master’s harsh words as he let up off my cock had air rushing into me. “That’s better, but oh yes, we’re coming back to this.”

“Thank you, Sir.” I wasn’t sure what I was thanking him for, but every part of me wanted to curl up next to him and beg him to do it again.

“Oh, my pup.” He leaned in and gave me a sweet kiss that was at odds with the dirty things that were racing through my mind.

He pulled back and looked down at my erection. “I think you’re ready.” He moved his hand up to grip the base and held me tight. It felt incredible, but watching him wrap the ring around me was even better.

I loved the snug fit and the way it made my cock stick out obscenely. So did Gabriel.

“Oh, I would love to have you like this all the time, Pup.” Arousal had his voice thick. His hot gaze made me squirm.

“Please.” I whimpered, fighting to behave. I was losing the battle.
